I think the main thing is that you are happy and don't start your married life in debt.
I have very little debt (see siggy) but plan on having a frugal wedding if I could.. I might still be spending quite a lot of money but I am hoping that it all comes together..
I'd rather spend money on my honeymoon...

Congratulations! I have to say, I find weddings of the type you've described yours as feel more intimate and 'meaningful' than someone throwing tonnes of cash at it, especially when they have hundreds of guests, each to their own though, but I'd rather watch a lovely quiet wedding under a gazebo than in a gigantic hotel sitting next to the bride's mother's cousin's aunt's sister who they've never met but felt obligated to invite.0
