If only the same philosophy could be applied to all the rafflecopter competitions...
As I recall, the mags thread was born / created out of all the complaints that "The mags are taking over the daillies making it impossible to wade through...!"
TBH I think there are far more R/Cs that there were ever mag dailies, but I could be wrong. (CBA doing a count as going into daillies bogs me down from serious comping, LOL!)
Worse things will have happened in the world today...

  • I'm starting to be suspicious about those daily comps from Now, PickMeUp, Woman’s Own, Chat etc.

Entered few comps for prepaid cards with foreign currency, hoping for boost for holiday. ( this one for example was running across 6 other mags: http://comps.womansownmagazine.co.uk/competition/connect_kalixa.php) They did several of those during this year.

Have been checking all mag websites after they ended and none of these sites announced any winner of those particular competitions.

If you look at winners here for example, you find only few minor prize winners in past few months:
    http://comps.pickmeupmagazine.co.uk/allwinners.php

It makes me sceptical about the bigger prizes..
    Am I being to paranoid?
    Best wins ever:
2012: Holiday to LA for 2 adults +2 kids for 4 days
    2013: £2 000 Virgin Holiday Voucher!
2014: $1000 spending money for hols
2015: 8 night holiday to Thailand

I've won a couple of big prizes from the mags in the last year, one cash and one vouchers, so they do exist and can be won!

someone has literally just posted tonight in IWIWIW that they won this week's Pick Me Up special prize of £1000 worth of gadgets.

There is normally at least one or two MSE big winners each month from the mag dailies (I say big winners to refer to stuff like washing machines, iPads, tellies), not to mention the dozens each month from here who win the small to medium prizes. I myself have had two wins from them, a £100 voucher and a picnic hamper, so they can be won, it's just down to luck - as is the case with any comp.

I've also won many 'medium' prizes & know of others that have won big prizes to small/medium prizes,
not everyone posts their wins in IWIW & some just prefer to pm the op of the comp they posted.
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png
