Any ideas for what I can do? Or do I still have to wait? Might go to a different company and explain that they are increasing prices, to see if they can offer me anything

Did you copy in OFCOM? If not RandomCurve has posted advice along the lines of it. It's been x days since my last email and no response attach is previous correspondence for your info. Copy in OFCOM when I did they responded within 3 hours and ee responded within 3 hours 1 minute

Hi,

First off thanks for your help Random Curve, you've been a huge help.

Secondly, I sent off template from post 175 over 7 days ago (on the 24th) I have yet to hear anything, do I need to send another email saying I have not heard anything or just wait for the CISAS template and pursue that?

Cheers

Thanks to you all for your help so far. I sent the 2nd e-mail yesterday and got a response at 8 this morning. To go to CISAS. Do send 2nd e-mail to CISAS?

This is response

Dear Name,

Thank you for your email response.

We do not feel that this change is of material detriment to you as it is in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI), which is a measure of inflation. I acknowledge you do not agree with this decision therefore the next step would be to seek independent adjudication via CISAS.

You may refer your complaint to CISAS. CISAS will determine whether the complaint falls within the jurisdiction of its ADR Scheme. We may argue that it does not. If CISAS agrees its Scheme applies, it will adjudicate on the complaint in line with the Scheme rules. CISAS's details are as follows:-

CISAS
International Dispute Resolution Centre
70 Fleet Street,
London,
EC4Y 1EU

Email: info@cisas.org.uk
Tel: 020 7520 3827
Fax: 020 7520 3829

I trust the above information is of assistance to you.

Yours sincerely

Nope, at the minute, RandomCurve is working on the case that we'll all be submitting to CISAS. So for the moment, just continue to watch the forum until he says otherwise :)

EE seem to be getting their act together. I also received a reply to e-mail 2 within 24 hours with the reference to CISAS. I guess they have worked out that dealing with a hundred or so people through CISAS at £300 a time is better than losing a single case anywhere because then they would have to refund all affected customers. More expensive than 100 x £300. But at least it would make me feel better. Even better to get out of the contract though!
