When you buy Miele you are buying into numbered sock drawers and weak lemon drinks.
i'm sure there are millions of people who will be staring into space and thinking "if only i had a dyson , my life would be complete ";)
and then they wake up and buy something more reliable and cheaper0 -
Dysons are perfectly reliable as long as the filters are maintained (both of them, pre and post-motor). Failure to do this kills the motor prematurely. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

i took ours to a local repair shop , i reckon he had 20 cleaners in there for repair and around 15 of them were dysons , the guy said they pick everything but they are made on the cheap, and obviously sold on the dear0 -
£239 would buy you two Henrys, and you'd only need one anyway.
So, this is a money saving forum. Buy British, buy quality, buy the best. Have you ever seen a builder with a Dyson, or professional cleaners using them?1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -

The point of Dyson vacuum cleaners is to make money for the Dyson firm, something they do very well no doubt.
They have a five year warranty so I shouldn't think you should worry too much about them breaking, it's Dyson's problem if they do.
I dont think you could throw a Dyson in the back of a van and bash it around umpteen staircases, the plastic is a bit delicate and having it out of commission for repair would be costly to a cleaner. But they aren't made for that anyway.0 -
So, a brand which is less than half the price does as good (if not better) a job and is far more rugged.
It's less than half the price
It is more sturdy
It is better.

The only thing the Henry isn't is a well-marketed fashion accessory.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

I have used Henrys in the past and found them to be pretty useless to be honest.
Personally I think you are all just angry and jealous because you don't have Dysons.
I used to feel the same.
It might seem expensive, but the amount it adds to your self esteem and quality of life is inestimable.0 -
I think Dysons are worth every penny. I'm on my second one now and will never go back to another brand. I did have another brand in between but it lasted 6 months.0
