Just realised that one of my two £1K Certificates is rolled over from 2010. Both mature on 21 June. Rich(er)...thanks for the calculator link.

Sorry if I misunderstand you, but if the rolled over certificate was c. 2010 would it not have matured last year?

    David.

  • I bought £15000 of bonds on 14th May 2011.
I checked the calculator and based on latest inflation figures published 19th January they're now worth £17,194.50.
It would be nice to make £17,500 by the time they mature in a few months.
Just checked the calculator. Today they're down to £17,088.00.
Can't see them getting up to £17,500.
    Oh well, never mind.

That roughly tallies with mine - i.e. you've seen a reduction of 0.61%

It's the lowest they've been since August 2015 (they were £17,092.50 in September).
Two, possibly three(?) more dates to go to check amounts - 22/3, 12/4 and 17/5(?).
So, not long before I cash in. I have a fixed ISA with the Halifax which matures next year, and I had hoped to re-invest a fair bit of the cash in that, but I'd forgotten there was a limited time to re-invest and that's now passed, so I'll have to search around and see If I can find a reasonable return for my money somewhere in these spartan times for savers.
