I bought £15000 of bonds on 14th May 2011.
I checked the calculator and based on latest inflation figures published 19th January they're now worth £17,194.50.
It would be nice to make £17,500 by the time they mature in a few months.0 -

Yep - 14.6% growth - same as me.
Think your 17.5k might be stretching it!0 -

Nice, but it won't happen with a 48th Issue ILSC. I'd guess that the maturity valuation will be about £17,200 - but let's wait and see.0 -
Like so many others, my wife and I got the May 2011 issue (I call it that because I seem to remember it was pulled after just a few weeks because of demand). Good to see that it's performed reasonably, and I suspect we will roll them, but am I right in thinking that the ones we got for our children can't be extended?0

There were two very different May 2011 issues, the one on sale on the first to the eleventh offering a significantly better coupon than the one sold as of and from the twelth. We're talking of hundreds of pounds in a fully funded bond allowed to run to maturity.0 -

Well well, learn something new every day. Ours are from the 18th with an RPI+0.5% coupon, which I guess is the lower rate then. Darn0 -

The current renewal rate is 0.05% + RPI0
