If you are approaching your 6 year time limit for taking legal action, obviously you need to consider taking action to preserve your rights.
If not, you need to keep checking back here to see if the Supreme Court challenge is allowed.
If you leave it to Jet2 to follow it up in due course, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't! As things stand, airlines are probably strictly liable for the majority of 3+ hour delays so plan B is to keep making it difficult for passengers to claim. Only those determined enough will get what they are due.0 -
Thanx I have a few more years yet :-)
I'll keep looking out for the judgement and send them another letter when it happens :-)
I'll keep you's posted if anything happens in the mean time
Thank you0 -

Thanx for any help

We have had exactly the same, I expect it's a standard letter that they send to everyone to keep them at bay while they prepare their appeal to the Supreme Court. I expect them to submit this right on the 28 day deadline.0 -
Hope it's lost by Royal Mail and they don't get proof of postage0

Just has letter back from the airline, they say Jet2 have submitted application to Supreme court and requesting further stay.Check out Vaubans Flight Delay Guide, you will be glad you did....
