A guy I used to work with gave away a portable DVD player because he got a new one with a bigger screen and better sound. Not quite as rare as hens teeth but dam close.

EDIT: my quote button doesn't seem to work and I cant include smilies, hohum.

Never had quote button problems but I often do with the thanks button. Sometimes it just sits and sulks at me. But then a lot of things do that to me.

Had a try for the TV anyway, as a Taken hasn't been posted yet.
How sweet it is to do nothing..... and then rest afterwards.

Nothing interesting on my groups today, or even remotely funny (must join 160's group!) But, I gave some things to a really nice freecycler today - she called round promptly to collect them and I could see she was genuinely pleased :T

some companies have business plans with less thought and detail than that

You betcha - the company I work for (at the moment) wouldn't know a business plan if it smacked them in the face
If I won the Euromillions jackpot, I'd buy them out and sack the management :D

    Hello,
I am looking for a smallish Rucksack as I am soon to
go on a school trip with my youngest son(6).
It only needs to be big enough to hold a couple of
packed lunches and wallet, mobile etc (not a typical
ladies handbag contents-need to downsize for a day).
    I can collect.
    Thanks for reading.
Love to see the size of her handbag,

    Lucky you, I'm dead jealous.

Been thinking of all the things I could do with a tin of buttons.
First I'd ..... and then I'd ..... oh and then ....... the list is endless!

You got me thinking of a tin of buttons I have. They were my mum's. The buttons must be over 50+ years old. Of no value at all, but I can't part with 'em. Just call me a sentimental old fool!! (No don't!!)
:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing

My daughter is excited too, tried to convince me she should stay at home today so she can sort them all out when I've been for them. she wants them for various craft things, she starts high school in sept and her project now for the summer hols is to transform her school bag by stitching buttons all over it so it'll be unique. will see if it happens, but should keep her quiet at the very least, lol.personally i can't wait to get my hands on them and have then sorted into colours, lol.
