    Dear All,

I am re-sending this message again, hopefully, I can get what I
asked for previously from new members of the group or in case older
    members decided to donate.

Thank you very much for everybody who is donating through this
group. These donations help people very much and I've, personally,
got few things which are of great use for me.

I am wondering whether is it possible to ask anybody to offer
a "working" portable DVD player in case this is no more of use due
to its old model or bad status.

I am a student of xxxxxx University and living in the city centre.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this message.

    Cheers

Just seen one of the most generous offers I've ever seen on our local group
OFFERED..32 INCH PLASMA TV...DUE TO UP GRADE

HI YA ALL WE HAVE JUST UPGRADED TO A 50 INCH VERSION AND THE OLD NEEDS
TO GO.ALL IN GOOD WORKING ORDER..JUST NEEDS A DUST

I'd go for it myself but it was posted an hour ago so no doubt they've already had hundreds of offers to "take it off their hands". Lovely, though, that people think of their Freecycle friends first when they have something like that available. Hope they don't get too many ill-mannered replies.
How sweet it is to do nothing..... and then rest afterwards.

A guy I used to work with gave away a portable DVD player because he got a new one with a bigger screen and better sound. Not quite as rare as hens teeth but dam close.

EDIT: my quote button doesn't seem to work and I cant include smilies, hohum.
