MSE News: Lloyds launches Everyday Offers cashback: Is it any good?

Have Lloyds added a new term to the T&C's or am I imagining it and it has always been there?
"Offer expires xx/xx/xx and is valid one time only"
I tend to spend £30/£40 at a time in Morrisons but end up having 2/3 transations in the qualifing period to make up the full cashback... just wondering if this is going to effect me as I cannot for the life of me remeber if the one time only clause was there before?0 -

I have had both options at different times - both the single spend and the cumulative. Cumulative first and then single spend. (When it's been single spend I have just brought forward the purchase of store cupboard products.) The wording when it was cumulative did show that it was for all spend it said, ". . . on all purchases until [date], maximum total reward £XX". (my emphasis)0 -
New offer today from lloyds cashback is to get £50 cashback when taking out a contract with o2 that is paid by direct debit.
The offer stipulates that you will get the cashback after the second months bill. My query is this: is there anything to stop you from taking this offer getting their cheapest mobile contract £8ppm (they do 30 day contracts) keeping it for two months then switching contracts?0 -
I didn't know the amount of cashback can vary by person to person, I think this is unfair. For example for one merchant I get 5% but my friend gets 15%... They use the excuse that it's tailored to the individual to get away with this. How can this be fair?0

Hi Moneylover1234,
Offers are personalised to you based on your spending with your debit and/or credit card. The offers will be different in comparison to your friend's as you have different purchasing habits.
