These kind of cashback offers just annoy me. The problem is that the offers don't cater to the smaller communities that don't have the big branded stores. Instead of offering a large discount on the one shop, if they offered a smaller % everytime you used the card it would be of more benefit to everyone.
  • Just got this through my Bank of Scotland internet banking, haven't got any offers yet.

    Only those with current accounts.

This morning I've had 8 offers.

    Still none for me!

I love a curry too, easily my favourite, but I tend to make my own;) Occasionally I do get a takeaway. Have you tried a "Whistling" curry Bugsy from Londis. IMO, it is the best shop curry I have ever tasted, very close to restaurant standard. Full of flavour.

Be warned, when you put it in the microwave, it makes quite a racket. Don't be alarmed, it does whistle, that's why it called "Whistling":D

I just can't see any cashback to your debit card from local Indian takeaways.

Even if I'm really ill for some unknown reason I could still tuck away at an Indian curry as I'm sure they're like a drug.

Mine tells me I am not eligible to register for the offers as I must hold a current account with them.

Errr.... so whats the Classic account that shows up when I log in then?

Don't tell me they've CPD'd me on this as well! LOL

If you have a bank of Scotland current account you'll only get the offers for bank of Scotland by logging onto the bank of Scotland website. If you have a Halifax current account you'll only get the offers by signing onto the Halifax site.

I have the old internet banking details that'll allow me to sign onto either platform but my current account is bos so when I tried to have a sneaky go at the offers through the Halifax site it told me I wasn't eligible. Sounds like that could be your issue simax?

The bos offers won't be functional until the new year
