Os Daily Tues 19th June 2007

Options
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 19th June 2007. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Hi,

I haven't got a clue why my body decided to wake up now - it's really no where near 6 a.m. yet!!

I thought I'd post on here, have a glass of milk, return both DDs to their own beds and then try and get back to sleep til 6.

I'm just going to do essential things today (like getting kids to school, getting to work etc..). My to do list is too long and scarey so I'll get the essentials done and peep at my list tonight to see whats left to do when DDs are snoring.

B/fast - toast/cereal
Lunch - s/wiches, fruit
Dinner - chs/bacon chicken breast, potato waffles, carrots

Hope every1 has a good day and ((((HUGS)))) to those who want/need one.

Luv Jxx

Morning Jet - isn't it sooooo annoying when you can't sleep!

    Morning all to follow!

I came back down to earth with a big bump yesterday - had to go back to w*r* after my lovely week off. I just felt like sobbing all day long (but resisted).

Bon voyage to AussieLass and her OH who start their journey back to Oz today (though don't actually depart the UK until tomorrow). Hope you got your cases successfully packed Aussie! Come back soon though.

I had an unannounced parental visit last night - the house was soooo untidy, so I got told off for that (hey, I'm 40 but am still the baby!). Can you believe that my mother hasn't used the breadmaker she practically wrestled from my grasp about a month ago? I might need to give her lessons as I think that because it's modern technology she finds it a bit scary.

Penelope Penguin, how are the chick hatchings going? I am so excited for you! Churchmouse, did you finish the crate of champagne last night:rotfl:?

PP, hope you have a comfortable day.

    Have a fabulous Tuesday everyone.

I had this dream that I was typing on the computer at stupid o clock.......

Morning. Missed yesterday as I was too rushed. I am now working in Newquay which is further than my old office, so I have to leave for work earlier. Nwquay is a happening place. One of the clients yesterday was a stripper/pole dancer. A far change from the bucket and spade brigade of old????:rotfl:
Apparently some can earn £2000 a night in tips and stuff.... Maybe I ought to get my fat belly out :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .
    Looks a little overcast today...
One more day working and I have thurs/fri and the w/end off. Fishing trip on Thursday, so the weekend is shaping up!
Well folks have a nice one.

    Morning All

At work on time this morning as no hangover:rotfl: Got told off by bf for getting like that through depression.

I figure it really is time to find a new job, as I hate getting up in the morning now. I dread coming in. I hate early morning shifts, I hate having everyone else's work to do. Basically really need to get out of here.

Had a salad last night - thought it would be light for my delicate tummy!!!

Going to the theatre this evening (free of course) to see Joseph, which is in town on tour. Seen it loads of times, but I love it!

Got to write a couple of letters for bf this morning to get some things sorted out for him. Other than that, just going to plod through the day as usual

    Hope everyone's ok

    Good morning!

Off to the gym in a minute for my hour of torture:eek:

Last night was so exciting with Penny's chicks starting to hatch, DH thinks I've totally lost the plot, but I don't care:rotfl: How will we get through the day without updates?

Expecting some signed-for deliveries today, so can't venture too far. Suppose that means I'll have to do some H/W. No wait a minute, the weather is lovely so far, so that's gardening this morning, and H/W when the rain arrives this afternoon.:D And if I'm lucky and the deliveries arrive am I can go out pm and avoid it for another day:cool:

Kedgeree for dinner tonight so that's an easy one.

Hope everyone's well and enjoy your day!

    Morning All

The site is playing up for me today so hope this posts ok.

    (((hugs))) where needed

Congrats to Pen-Pen on your new additions.

Weather looks ok here at the moment, havnt read the forcast hasnt been right the last couple of days anyway so have only got a little washing to do so will get in on the line hopefully. Mainly will be in office today for routine paperwork, must re-write Health & Safety guidelines later re the danger of driving and update all the no-smoking stuff. Have got stickers to put in the vans - not long to go now.

Feeling better today but have started to take some St Johns Wort again - I am really bad at taking things daily - they dont kick in for a month so will see how we go.

Cant remember whats on my meal planner but think I have a shepherds pie in the freezer so may have that tonight.

Best get off now - have a great day.

(Must now try and go and get the thought of N9eav pole dancing out of my head!):rotfl:
