I applied under the same criteria as you with the addition of being 62 or over and, like you, got an reference number.
I eventually managed to speak to someone at Scottish Power yesterday to find out what was happening and got told that as my reference number started with E000 it would happen automatically sometime between now and the end of March 2014.
Did you discover who is responsible for arranging the rebate ?
ie SP or DWP ?0 -

I would persevere with trying to speak to someone on the phone. I spent more than a week off and on trying to get through but got there eventually.

That will be difficult - I cannot speak on the phone - I have a speech problem !!
I have just received an email from SP social media - asking me to register on SP website - which I had already done - this is the reason that I am querying it - since I received an email from SP informing me that I needed to contact DWP - But they told me that it was the responsibility of the suppliers to make any payment...
This is infurating !!0 -
