Morning all. Hope everyone is ok. As I did the LR yesterday, I'm going to start with washing up and the downstairs loo this morning.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
 Good morning all. Thanks for your kind comments on my weight loss. I must say I've got a lot more energy than I used to have, with no longer carrying around the equivalent of 3 bags of potatoes all the time :j DH has managed an almost identical weight loss (though he's still got a long way to go before he loses his teddy bear tum
) but one result of his new slimmer figure is that yesterday his wedding ring dropped off his finger and went awol for a couple of hours, leading to major upset on his part  Fortunately he found it again :T but I have now wound micropore tape around his wedding ring and my engagement ring to keep them on. Eventually, I suppose, we shall have to have them made smaller.
Boddy, sorry to hear about your friend.
Optimistic-mummy, please don't overdo it today - listen to your body.
Extra (((hugs))) to dancemum.
Nice to have you back, Bossy.
More doggy-sitting vibes for LW.
Welcome to all newbies!
Lots of people seem to have found their GUAG this week.
The second post I wrote yesterday appears to have gone missing - probably my own fault, as I keep forgetting to press Send here on the thread and on FB.
Our plasterer did not come yesterday(rang me at 8.30 to say he was behind on a job that he started at the weekend) but has rearranged for Wednesday; however this means that we can't do any decorating in our bedroom before we go away for the weekend, and it will probably mean a further week's delay on getting the house finished and fully furnished
At least I managed to clear all the tools and odd pieces of wood from the other upstairs bedroom, as well as sorting out the utility and tidying away all the paint rollers and brushes. This morning I must check how much paint we still have and go on a shopping trip this afternoon for whatever else we need - I know we haven't got the colour for our bedroom, and we probably need more white gloss.
DH has a wardrobe to paint this afternoon when we get back from SW. I am off to the hairdresser's for a trim before the meeting. Some people will go to any length to get a good result on the scales
Have a good day, all. Plenty of spoons on offer here today, and I'll chuck a few sticks to keep the BDs occupied. Now I'll go and tackle Mount Ironmore before breakfast - just 4 shirts0 -

Morning all. WM x1 done TD on with last nights stuff. DD gone to school. Car shifted out of the road (only just before the lorries came). DS's homework put in car ready to go. I'll have to take him today or he'll lose his planets en route.
I'm meeting at the scout hut at 1pm to start putting up tents for bonfire night. It has been raining heavily ALL night long. It got so heavy that it kept waking me up. Had to get DH to open our window last night when he came to bed as it was fumy in there and gave me a headache. But it looks lovely.

I noticed last night that the black mould has suddenly bloomed all over the house again so I'm going to don the goggles & industrial gloves and clean it up today once I've cleared the decks so I can access the areas its growing.Hopefully if I manage to treat it today that will be the end of it for this year, but I seriously doubt it.
Going to have a coffee and update finances first, then I'll get on the jobs.

That's an impressive shop Pigpen! Well done on the knitting and the pre-logging on flying LW, good idea. Hope your Mum's results come through soon CY, and you can get out of the doldrums.
We don't do Halloween here so we've always made a big thing of bonfire night and it has turned into quite a special evening with lots of family traditions so I've lots to do today. Hope the rain stops, I do love those fireworks.
Have a good day everyone.
