Hi everyone,
I'm a very sporadic flylady, but I'm going to try again
I'd like to join the pre-Advent challenge. Badly need to sort out the living room. Its become a dumping ground for books and papers. Aim will be to make it a welcoming space that I'll really want to decorate for Christmas.
Hugs and spoons to all who need them, especially those with the BD. I suffer with BD especially over the winter.
Thanks for the lists, and have a good week folks.

Thanks for the list Dusty and thanks for last week Natty. I'm in again this week and just planning what I can achieve later this evening. I am at work all day and then baby-sitting for a few hours after work. So I will try to eat a frog - fill in new GP forms - and also hoover and mop the kitchen or something similar and achievable.0

Thanks for adding me to the list Dusty.
Naturally day 1 has gone very well. I've hoovered & dusted upstairs! :rotfl:0 -

Amazing what you can do in half an hour. Before no work surfaces free. After, free space!
Put some Ariel washing powder in a paste on the sink, really brightens it.
Lunch, find bill to pay, then floor later.
Thank you everyone on this thread, you've spurred me on :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I'm in again. Thanks for the inspiration. So many frogs to eat I didn't now where to start! In the end decided to go through my receipt box. I keep most receipts for 3 months and then throw them unless they're important. So I cleared August's box and started a new one for November.0

Oooh, I can't wait to get home from the office and start on my kitchen floor! I looked at it this morning before reading today's list and thought to myself that it would need some attention.
I have one of those kitchen drawers that stuff gets put into willy-nilly so sorting that out be my frog for the day.
Hugs to dogs/cats/children etc that needs 'em.0 -
Well my plans for an afternoon at the park didn't happen, DD3 fell asleep on the way home from preschool, her first day back must have worn her out. I managed to tackle two thirds of the ironing mountain while she slept so DD1 and DD2 have uniform and sports kits for all their various clubs sorted for the week. Need to ask DH to carry it all upstairs when he gets in (I have a bad pelvis and can't get upstairs without using both handrails) and I'll put it away before bed. Just sat with another cuppa and I'm gonna tackle a few sewing jobs that need doing. I don't know how my DD1 does it, but her climbing clothes are forever full of holes?!?0

Hi everyone.
I've been Flying before logging on again.;) Kitchen surfaces done, garden poo patrol done, Jessie fed and walked (she's going home at 15:00 today, sob) and I'll be doing the Dys0n Tango after she's left, as she hates the vacuum.
Re the November challenge - I scratched my head a bit, as we're actually very good at turfing out stuff as it appears, but if I may, I have a couple of areas that could use attention, as follows:
1) I need to re-vamp my master back-up flash drive by deleting stuff that's now completely out of date and zipping things that are archived but need to be retained, and prepare new folders for 2014's bills (I have as many as I can in virtual form). Also prepare a folder for 2014 on the photo flash drive, with sub-folders for home pics and dog pics.
2) The stuff I have to have in paper form needs going through for any that can be either archived and lofted, or shredded.
I'm also doing fairly well on my waistcoat - some of you may remember Dusty suggested setting a target for getting the back done by the end of November; I'm about half-way up the back at this point. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
