  • I hope to be back in and fluttering this week. BD took over here last week, which was a pity because it was half term and I didn't achieve half of what I wanted to....

This week I will be around Mon - Thurs - I suspect I will be at mums on Friday. Last week I was all built up for her Drs appt on Monday, but apparently her test results weren't through. I've no ideaq when she's actually going to hear the results, which doesn't help with my BD.

So the plan is to clearing the c*** before Advent? Count me in! DS has agreed to do a couple of tip trips for me next weekend, which might mean I can actually move in my bedroom - at last. I did manage to play furniture tetris in my room last week - the CoD that has come from mums is now where I want it to be and it contains bedding. I have had a complete cull on bedding and now have 4 bags waiting to go to the CS.

My aim over the next few days is to get to the bottom of the ironing pile. I have managed to avoid ironing some items - they were summer dresses so have been put in a vacuum bag on top of a wardrobe.:rotfl::rotfl:

I did manage to have a good sort in both the DD's bedrooms over the weekend - both are now looking good. I need to get rid of an old under high sleeper wardrobe unit and DS's old desk, both of which are still in our room - and when I've cleared that space I have to hope that DS will help me move his old I*** Cod from DD1's room to ours..... Then I can get DD1 what she really covets - a floor to ceiling bookcase! And then.... we might be getting somewhere......

I am hoping this plan of action will keep me focussed during November... I am renowned for loathing this month - too many bereavements, too many anniversaries. I am counting the days until Dec 1st.

I have been reading whilst I haven't been posting, hugs to Jazee about sick dog and congrats to Madcatgirl on the arrival of your little boy - the only piece of advice I give to new parents these days (esp to those with boys) is don't change nappies on the bed.....

I will post an update this week - please remind (ie nag) me if I don't!!

Off to write a letter to the school administrator in advance of an MSA meeting this wek - it's 10 days since we finished for half term and I am still livid that, despite all her efforts re rotas, I ended up in the playground on my own with all the kids on the last day....

I'm going to try again this week but not sure how much will get done. Having a bad case of BD and lack of GUAG :o:(

No-one loaded the dishwasher again last night so I've done that this morning. Will need to do a second load as there was lots to do. For some reason my children having started a "one drink per mug/glass" thing
I've done one load of washing, now on the airer. I have lots more to do but really don't want to put up another airer so it'll have to wait.
I've wiped down the kitchen sides and the cupboard doors, inside and out.
Currently de-cluttering some toast and a second coffee while watching a cheesy American Christmas/romance film, think Mills & Boon :o
I have to go to my parents at 12. I'd promised last week I'd go bowling with them and some friends of theirs. It was a good idea last week when I was feeling ok but I really don't want to go now :o

  • Well my first day of flying is going well. 2x WM done, one of the airer and one blowing nicely on the line. Got a three bean chilli in the slow cooker, washed the pots DH left out after his late finish last night , cleaned the cupboard fronts and surfaces and scrubbed the oven. I pick DD3 up from preschool at 11:45 so I'm currently enjoying a cuppa and I'll mop the kitchen and LR on my way out of the door. Going to take DD to the park after lunch, make the most of the bright dry weather while we still have it

Crikey a lot of you do a lot more than I do. I mopped the kitchen floor last night (yay me!), have cleaned the cooker, gave the sink a GOOD clean and wipe, did the few pots that were in the sink and put them away. Apart from making the meal for tonight that is about it for me today :) However I will give the living room floor a good hovering as I'm allergic to cats and I have 2 of them - need to keep the cat hair to a minimum!
