I loved it last night - but he has dark hair that is going grey/white with a ginger beard that has clumps of blond/white in.... was I the only one to think how unusual that is?

Nope, I've noticed that chaps often have a touch of ginger in their beards... :D

    November Challenge:
    A game of 2 halves :D
Clothing declutter to include the stuff in the plastic boxes on top of the wardrobe that either doesn't fit or needs mending.
A logical system for my financial paperwork.
And, in extra time, I will ensure that my Mum has stocks of essentials in case we have a rubbish winter.

Time for that second cup of :coffee: with plenty of clean spoons next to it in case anyone needs them.

    Afternoon all,
Afraid no flying took place last night, had a bit of a barney with the BF and finished by telling him I no longer wanted him living with me. He was out at the time so phone got switched off and I spent the evening having a long bath, doing my nails and watching Downton (my friend had already cancelled).
Not had a proper chat with the BF but I did get a nie bunch of flowers delivered at work today (and boys wonder why we get suspicious when they appear with them!) so will talk when we get home.

Did put the DW on before I left for work and there's a beef stew in the SC which will have switched itself on magically an hour ago to be ready for coming home from the fireworks. Will throw the hoover round downstairs after work and mop as we're on our way out the door. Can pick up some more slack after tea.

Will find my list later and update with today's jobs.

Hope you're all well, hugs, spoons and vibes where needed/wanted.

    Take care of yourself Optimistic-mummy
Hope Moomin feels better soon Pigpen
CY my BF has dark hair but a 'rare' ginger beard... that I never tease him about... hahaha

When DS1 grows a beard it has quite a lot of red ginger in it although his hair is mid brown.

I have cleaned the kitchen sink, that is it. But did spend 3 hours chatting with a friend.

Just need to print a few documents then head off to a meeting.

  • Hoovered and mopped the kitchen floor and as I did I saw something scuttle behind the fridge freezer!!!!! I opened the feezer door and something ran out so I squished it but of course now I don't know what it was. I'm thinking 'roach!!!!! Popped into Robert Dyas to buy something to get rid but was told that the sticky traps they used to sell were withdrawn as they were inhumane......really?

I've got some flea spray which the lady in-store says will be effective but will it? UGH....I hate 'em.

    Hi all.

Has anyone seen my GUAG?:o It seems to have gone AWOL. I suspect it left when Jessie went home yesterday.

Boddy how sad for your friend to lose both her furbabies in such a short space of time.:(

GWS vibes where they're needed today; Piggers I don't know of the illness Moomin has, but it sounds very unpleasant; hope she feels better soon. Oh – I just read your subsequent post – my complete sympathies, having a mouth full of ulcers myself at present. Poor little lass!

I've put the yogurt maker on, and I have to make choccie mousse in a bit, then play fridge Tetris to get the dishes in. Then do the subsequent pile of washing up. Did I ever mention, I hate washing up?:p

At least the vacuuming is done; I did three passes of the whole bungalow after Jessie left, and picked up no end of black dog hair. I've put the black bin bag out today, too – first one we've put out in four weeks; and most of the contents was dog hair, I reckon!

I've mentioned the November challenge to Mr LW, and he's going to get all the archive boxes out of the loft for me, so that I can do a proper weed and shred job, and we can loft the “new” archived stuff afterwards.:T
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

  • I have to label myself a hoarder - though I am not as bad as some that get on the TV I have all the symptoms. However - in the last couple of days we have got rid of an old PC with Windows 98 on it, and the huge monitor that went with it. I now intend to get rid of the old and enormous computer desk in the back bedroom which was my daughter's and put the small now empty desk up there, plus a writing desk from the middle bedroom which was my son's - but it is a case of finding room to move things so things can be moved.

As the local supermarket doesn't charge for carrier bags I save them and aim to fill one each weekday morning and try to do another one in the afternoons, which I empty out and bring back to be refilled. This bit by bit method seems to be working to stop things getting worse, but we have so much stuff in the house we cannot enjoy the space we ought to have, nor the things which fill it.

Right - now where is my screwdriver set - the desk has to be dismantled - no - first it has to be cleared and emptied. Maybe find another couple of carriers.

    Afternoon lovely flyladies :hello:

I'm back from my honeymoon  Dubai was amazing, hotel was out of this world and I have put on at least half a stone because of the huge amount of duty free booze and yummy food I've stuffed in my cakehole :D

The last load of holiday washing is on the airer, and my ironing basket is empty. LR is clean and tidy (did that yesterday) and I will give the kitchen a quick blitz when I've collected the skids and run to Ald!, had dinner with the in laws last night so first foray into cooking in well over a week! Down to earth with a bump.

    Hope everyone is well xx
