I save gift bags too but I do use them again.. unless silly little useless tiny ones!

I've done nothing I planned to.

I still save some gift bags especially bottle bags:rotfl: - but just recently sent a whole lot to my local CS as I realised I was never going to use them all up in a million years!!!

    Morning all

Having a productive morning, but nothing off the list as usual :rotfl: WM has already been on, some washing up done by DD, she also stripped her bed, fridge cleaned out and Christmas cakes wrapped and stored. Just had a slice of one now and its delicious  WM now on a empty boil wash, and I'm going to finish my coffee and decide on a plan of attack. My shopping is due between 12.30-1.30 so I have plenty of time to do jobs before it arrives. :D

I have just made a huge mistake. Took Mrs Dog out on her morning walk and realised a group of RAF cadets were preparing to parade. Thought I'd take Mrs D up around the Hoe as it's such a beautiful day and then got really, really embarrassed because my poppy isn't on my dog walking jacket. I felt truly terrible - there are already several hundred people up there, all smartly dressed. What finally finished me was a girl of about 10 walking towards the war memorial with her mother, the child wearing a coat with a group of medals on it.
    Better is good enough.

    Wonderful Wednesday
    Wipe phones/games and tv controls
    Clean a window
Frothy Thursday - Bathroom Deep clean
Mould alert, check for any starting to develop and deal with it - Livingroom, master bedroom, hall
Hoover and wash the floor right into the corners including any skirting
    Polish mirrors, windows, shower screens
Almost there Friday Master Bedroom, Stairs and Landing
    Hoover stairs
    Change the bedding
Pull everything out from under the bed and hoover
    Catch up on laundry

3am the naughty baby went to sleep so of course she is still up there snoring.. ggrr.. we were 'talking' ... how could I refuse this girl? The sleepsuit she is wearing was bought for ds1 in April 1991!!!.. from Woolworths. It was one of the only things he had new.

TD on airing yesterdays laundry from the line.
Recycling gathered up ready to go out.

3 loads of laundry to go out.. I doubt it will dry much but it's going out all the same.

Bossy - you are one brave lady and have come so far on this journey you never wanted to make x

Honey - that is so sad. Everybody will have been so wrapped up in the event they would not have noticed you. In your heart your poppy was on x

    Productive morning by everybody:

DH Moved the coat rack, cleaned all the rank shoes from PGL and is fixing the outside light
DS1 has tidied and cleaned his bedroom - this is very unusual
DS2 been at work doing 4 hours overtime (time and a half)
Me, 3 loads of washing, half cleaned the bathroom, moved all the coats back, hoovered the kitchen floor, filed the log basket, swept the hearth.

Not quite sure what DS3 has done but he's not annoyed anybody.

Right I need to get the bathroom finished

I have not read back sorry... I have also done NO cleaning but I did get the money I have been saving with my sis and we went Christmas shopping :D so I am very nearly done, I just need new slippers and pjs for us all!

I had no where to put the gifts but the dreaded cupboard at the top of the stairs, so I have had to sort it out first, it has taken nearly 3 hours but there is now space for everything :T and after chrimbo I can store my hoover iron/board and steps in there whoop.

I also bought a new bed which is getting delivered Friday, I cant wait we have had the same mattress for 6 years!!!! and it was only a super cheap one to start with.

So now that is sorted I am going to have a good look at the list and see what I can do

    Hope we are all well.

I echo this; though Piggers has put it more eloquently than I could manage.

HB I know how you feel - every year I buy a poppy, put it on my coat, then don't wear that coat for another fortnight! These days I slot my poppy through the tab of the zip on my handbag - I only use one handbag, so no danger of it being on the "wrong" one.

Bonnie's had her lunchtime walkies and a couple of dig-biscuits, and is now snoozing on her day-bed . Yes, she has two beds - the one to sleep in at night in the kitchen, and another for her aging bones to be comfortable when she's with us in the lounge.:o
