Woot Bossy!
(((Hugs))) Jazee.
Skint: Bicarb may be cheaper (if you buy it at a Chinese supermarket in 1kg sacks) than fabr£z£ - and it still works shoved down a drain followed by vinegar afterwards. (I tend to empty it out after I've done mine, OH wafts around the city centre shedding white clouds in his de-ponged trainers.)
Mrs Dog has ripped through a Bon!0 like it was steak. She's on such a lowfat diet that treats are very difficult to find and her teeth are never going to recover from a lifetime of neglect so eating is always painful, but apparently bon!0s are just the thing.
Portuguese Lodger N came shopping with me to buy a particular toy from Morribunds for his sons, and we also got a couple of bags of parsnips for his wife - she loves them, but they're mega-expensive in Portugal. He's contributed the majority of the price of a rib of beef for tomorrow night - he says his favourite meal in the whole world is roast beef followed by cheesecake, so that sorts out tomorrow night's dinner. As a result, if anyone wants it, I have a spare Week 5 Morries voucher.Better is good enough.0 -
Bossy, great news.
HB - great that MrsDog has got a treat she likes.
Dusty, I don't have you on fb but am rubbish at finding people. You can always PM me with details if you like. My PM box is almost empty.

Piggers you'll like today 9.11.13, consecutive odd numbers in a date will not occur again until the next century so enjoy!
Pixie is 3 months old today too .. where does that time go?I've just found out from a fb comment that my DS is gambling, and he owes me money. So I'm married to an alcoholic and have a gambler for a son. Life just gets better and better....
They make their own decisions and sadly you cannot force them one way or another.. they learn or they don't and while it is heartbreaking for you and you learn not to loan money for anything. Just be there to help them when they ask for it.. and don't let them give you crap about it.. look after yourself first and them second.. they don't put themselves first so neither should you!I found my wedding DVD!

I found my wedding DVD!
Folks, I'm sorry I didn't get on here yesterday - I was buried under a pile of 10-year-old credit card statements, utility bills and other assorted carp from the loft.:D All shredded now.:T
Bonnie's a dear, sweet dog; 12 years old, and a gentle, plodding old thing.:o
HB, I don't know if it'd be of any interest to Mrs Dog, but Bonnie's got some fresh breath treats, like little round biscuits, called B@iley B!tes M!nties, made by B@rking H£ads. I hadn't heard of them before, but they smell really minty, and Bonnie is very enthusiastic about them.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
It was unde the garage counter. I had 3 bags of gift bags (do we all keep these lol ?) and thought I'd edit and recycle, and found a carrier bag underneath. Had the DVD, his wallet and notebook, my brothers marathon medal (dedicated to DH) and some other bumph. It's in my room now and I'll have a good look tonight.
So relieved I didn't leave it at the hospice...Bossymoo

Dailies done.
Kitchen done
Bedroom done
Cat stuff done.
Made some lentil and bacon soup.
Need a blind for landing window as maybe that will keep a bit of the cold out.
bossymoo Glad you found your DVD.0 -
Excellent news that you found treasures and the DVD Bossy. Take care of yourself and treat yourself very gently while you go through them. Hugs.
Thanks Lamewolf. I'll see if I can find them and then check the fat content. If it's 5% or less, I'll give them a try at some point in the future. In the meantime, I can start winding down the higher fat content treats she's been having.
Shopping all away, bed changed, bathroom sparkly, shower room sparkly, Lodger N shortly to be decluttered to the pub to watch footie with one of our friends as OH is in London watching his team (probably lose oh er did I really say that?).Better is good enough.0 -
I save gift bags too but I do use them again.. unless silly little useless tiny ones!

We've had an early tea, they were nattering and I was peckish too. Stuffed now. Finished off with a mini magnum
on offer, of course
Was checking weather forecast earlier and we might get sleet overnight tomorrow, and possibility of snow in the next two weeks  so a good time I think to fill the second freezer (now I can get to it :T)
So I'm off on mysupermarket to get some ideas of what to put in it...Bossymoo
