Good job - I got stuck on it last year.
Preston council don't seem to great at gritting - if we have a rough winter a 4x4 will be great. Plus we have a good few sites you can hit the rougher terrain nearby - over Burnley way I've found a few fun tracks before now.
Shame you didn't buy one when prices were ridiculously low in summer.

I was going to but the daily drive decided to spit its dummy out on numerous occasions. Although enough cars struggle to get up London Road, the council do grit but as it's all up hill and busy, people just struggle to get moving from a hill start.
If I'd got the Terrano i'd have loved to play in the mud but I don't think the Passat will be too clever off road.0
