Seeing Brandy reminded me of this joke...
A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with four young mothers and their small children.
"You all have obsessions," he observed.
To the first mother, he said, "You are obsessed with eating.
You've even named your daughter Candy."
He turned to the second Mom. "Your obsession is money.
Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny."
He turned to the third Mom. "Your obsession is alcohol.
Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Brandy."
At this point, the fourth mother got up, took her little boy by the hand and whispered, "Come on, !!!!!!, let's go."
Hope nobody takes offence! Always a bit paranoid on these boards...

all 3 are beautiful names! maybe keep them all and then decide what she looks like. we had 4 names as options for girls and almost as soon as she was born we discarded 2 of them as she def wasn't those names!0

Hi guys,
Just to let you know that we are making our final choice tonight, it's been really difficult to choose.
It's between, in preference order.
Daisy
Gracie
Roma
Our surname is wright
What do you think about these?
Thanks0 -
I'd go for Grace (not Gracie - you can always call her Gracie but at least she'll have the "formal" name to fall back on for work..etc).
Daisy is fine.
Definitely not Roma. Do you have any links with Italy?0 -
Exciting now
Nice choices.
Daisy Wright
Gracie Wright
Roma Wright
Like Roma, but not sure about it with Wright. Especially if she can't say her Rs like Jonathan Ross!
Any middle name? Just thinking initials...

If you've put them in order of preference, then surely you've already decided on Daisy?
What have you been calling her?0 -
I prefer Rosemary, then you could shorten it to Romy, or Roma if you like (but I have visions of her being called Aroma) ... are you a gypsy, out of interest? That's what I think of when I hear the word roma.52% tight0

Daisy Doo, perhaps?
That's what Upsy Daisy says (from In The Night Garden). Doo means dog poo around here, by the way, so I'd be wary of giving it as a middle name.52% tight0 -
Daisy or Grace (not Gracie) would be fine IMO. But not Roma. It sounds odd to me0

My little girl is a Grace but we always call her gracie.
Do you really care what strangers on a internet forum think though? Surely its a decision for you and your partner to make?0
