The problems been resolved. If they want to listen to that complaint, then their choice.
I am entitled to make a complaint, no matter why

and what do you think will change?
big companies make errors on their sites
sometimes buyers score, other times they dont
  • I have the exact same issue, yes if we were honest we knew they must have ballsed up but thats why i rung currys help line and the chap even told me on phone that they were doing a launch special!!! these calls are recorded and i find it amazing both errors can just be washed away with an email 2 lines long!

You would think there customer service would be a little better than that!

No, they don't have to honour it.

    Oh, thankyou
This is awful, I am making a complaint to the head office about this
Again, thanks everyone for the help!

I don't see how it is 'awful', you took a chance on a misprice going through and it didn't work out. You'd be unlikely to find any other company that would honour such a significant misprice particularly given how quickly deals are spread these days and also on an Apple device where the margins are very small.

These mistakes happen all the time with companies, but what amazes me is some people's sense of entitlement.

There was a case of Argos selling a £199 TV for £1.99 a while back and some guy was ranting because they cancelled his 90 odd orders, saying he will take them to court to make sure they honour the price. Actually didn't Tesco make a similar error with an earlier Ipad model?

Basically you ordered an item that you KNEW was priced incorrectly... no one sells a brand new product at almost half off. You took a gamble in the hope they would ship it and not notice... they did and cancelled it.

Not really a justifiable complaint but, go ahead.

OP, this thread explains why they are able to cancel your order. Of course you can complain, and there is a possibility that you will be happy with the result of that complaint, but it's a pretty remote possibility, because they have done nothing wrong.
