Ipad air order cancelled

I ordered an ipad air 32gb silver (RRP £479) from currys for £265 this morning. The money went through to currys, and I recieved a conformation email, stating the same price.
I have just discovered currys have cancelled my order, saying the price glitch was "out of their control"
Can they do this?
Are they obliged to honour the price of £265?
Thanks

It means they don't have to honour their obvious mistake.

Probably an 'honest mistake' or some such. It'll be in the T&C small print.

The stated price is called an invite to treat, sort of saying, this is the price we are selling at, do you wish to buy it (they can change that price at any time they like, and dont have to honour that price).

As for cancelling, they can cancel at any time they wan't. Only once the item has been dispatched, then the contract has been formed.

As per the T&Cs you agreed to when you placed that order
