Ouija boards

Hi, first post and a little bit odd, and im sure you going to agree. I was out with some friends who are school teachers and after a few drinks out at a local pub (not drunk) went back to one of their homes and began to talk about spirits, unfortunately not vodka or gin! It was quite an odd evening really as this was not what I was expecting but one of the teachers got out a ouija board and conducted what all i can say was a bizarre reading. I thought what the hell am i doing here but this was not just a jokey night, it was something that was done frequantly. I thought oh my god if someone could see all this we would be struck off! Not only this but some of the teachers were using this as a advice service too getting 'info' about other people and using this against them! This is really crazy but this is all bizarre. I had done this reluctanly a few occasions as I do not want to appear as a wet lettuce but I cannot believe school teachers where doing this. Should I forget about all this as a joke or what would you think if you were a parent knowing that this was going on.

I would imagine you're all going to die and someone will make a horror movie about your story.

Are any of the teachers female and fit and like to run around in skimpy bikini outfits? I'm just thinking of this from a hollywood movie production company view?

Teachers are allowed to get drunk and do stupid things too you know.

As long as they don't teach or condone our children do do these things.

As superstitious nonsense goes, Ouija boards are right up there with palm readings, astrology and god. However a belief in anything supernatural doesn't suddenly make a person bad, or indeed a teacher bad; so long as they're not pushing beliefs in the classroom it really wouldn't bother me what my child's teachers did in their spare time, be that Ouija boards, tarot cards or hunting for the Loch Ness monster.

Reading the OP, I would be more concerned that a teacher didn't seem to have a basic grasp of paragraphs, sentences or grammar.

OP didn't say they were a teacher, just that his/her friends were.

sorry English not my first language. Thank you. I imagine I am just over reacting and its fine to do as you please. It was just bizarre, and not entertaining. Also yes I am not a teacher but thanks for the replies.
