*Ahem* Placed an order this morning, saw the Ojon offer on the Grabbit board, buy anything get a free full size pre-straightening/drying/tonging spray worth £23 with any order.

Cue two seperate orders for a shampoo and conditioner :o Oh well, it is stuff I don't currently have much of in the stash so why not?

    I have a uu

Naked Coco De Mer Body Wash - nice product which came as part of a bargain set so I am not sure how much it costs normally but WMBA.

I had a look at the Benefit calendar but wouldn't have bought it even if they still had any, I already have some of the products and I don't want any more lipglosses. I'm not impressed with the YOU calendar this year either and am not sure if I will feel any different at half price.

I ordered the Leighton Denny TSV on autodelivery, the first one is my Christmas present from DH and the second will be for my birthday then I will see whether to carry on from there.

  • One small, quick UU for me this morning:
    2. North Pole soap, pink - WBA, but it's discontinued.

Don't seem to have much spluttering at the moment - thought I was nearly done with my Garnier Moisture Match but when I cut it open there was tons left!

Good morning ladies. It feels good to have not had to get up for work today. Am just bobbing on to report some UUs and then get on with housework. Oh yes, I know how to live.

2 UUs in my shower this am:-

LE Limited Ed C&P. WBA. Yes, I liked this product but can't think about buying again even though it's Limited Edition as we have a 200ml tube on the go plus two on the way. These two are going to be gifted to us at Xmas so I suppose if we run UU the 200ml by then I'll consider buying another one of these.

Elemis Bliss Capsules. WBA although I tend to get these as GWPs and will look out for offers including these when I want to repurchase. My skin definitely needs a bit of a boost now that the cold weather is here and whilst I don't supercharge my day cream (PCMC) I like to give my skin a little extra when I go to bed. I've only finished this off this morning as I'm not planning on going anywhere and so won't be applying make up. So giving my skin a supercharge during the day as well today. Have a small vial of LE Superskin Concentrate to use next and think that's the last of my oils/serums so will be looking to repurchase something soon.

Have opened a block of Lush Porridge soap to celebrate these two UUs.
Just the one UU from my pampering...

    1. Ojon Damage Reverse Treatment - I liked this, but for the price I don't think it had enough of an impact on my hair to repurchase. There are other Ojon things I'd love to try, though.

I never got on with the Ojon fragrance TBH.

I am staying away from the advent calendars this year. I got the YOU one last year and I either still haven't used some of the items or the samples were too small for me to tell whether I'd want to buy the full-size products.

I'd have really liked one and was swaying towards the idea but it ended up being a total farce, they were meant to go on sale at 12 Noon online, it ended up being something like 2pm with no explanation whatsoever or further warning and apparently according to Twitter they sold out in about 35 seconds which is just ridiculous as they'd know they'd be really popular so why not have a decent amount of stock. Lots and lots of cross people on the FB page, especially those who had the calendar in the basket for it to promptly disappear at checkout. Not a good day for Benefit customer relations I think!! The other annoying aspect is a lot found their way straight onto Ebay - shame people will pay over the odds for them or this would be fruitless for those taking advantage, should've left them to people that actually wanted them! Oh well saved me £50 and the associated guilt :rotfl:

I know, I'm wavering about the advent calendars now. Like the sound of them but £50.00 is a bit steep. Maybe I'll get the Boots one unless the YOU one is reduced dramatically.

It's a shame about the Benefit one. I didn't get the hype about the last blusher either that they created by pre-selling it in certain places.

I love Stormy, it looks so dull in the bottle, but fantastic on my nails. I am so tempted by the Leighton Denny Auto Delivery on the TSV, but am trying to say strong, I really need the cash for physio and I am about to sign up with a personal trainer for a few weeks, to help with my lack of strength, so I really, really need to be good.

Hi maddiemay, did you get the TSV in the end? I didn't even watch QVC yesterday however I still get emails from QVC and saw the kit. I find LD's colours a bit bland though TBH and think he caters to the QVC viewer too much without being "new" unlike OPI. The kit had Steel Appeal in it as well didn't it which I own and have never been really impressed by either.
Right, I have looked at the first post so now I know what a UU is. Ready to post some action the.

    Two UUs to report today.

First is a 50ml clarins 'relax' bath and shower gel which was one of a few freebies I got ith some recent purchases from the Clarins website. Bath is running as I type and it smells lovely.

Hi and welcome. What you described there is also known as "GWP" (gift with purchase" :rotfl: You'll soon get used to all the acronyms.

    Hi all,

I need to buy a few essential toiletries tomorrow - toothpaste, cotton buds etc. but I have no plans to buy any other toiletries this month.

I'm desperate to UU the Bayliss and Harding lavender body cream this month so I can start on the Dove shea butter lotion I bought on Thursday.

I've finally finished it! That disgusting lavender body balm :T Hope no-one buys me any more for xmas:rotfl:
  • I've been thinking about my long term goals, and how much of a stash is reasonable to have in the long term in terms of 'graduation' - what do people think of these numbers? I think these should be excepting great deals on HGs - so if my day cream is on 2 for 1, then great, but 2 different day creams is not acceptable.

Body moisturiser: currently 12, reasonable 2 (for variety).
Hand cream: currently 5, reasonable 2 (one in handbag, one in desk).
Face moisturiser: currently 6, reasonable 2 (one day, one night)
Skincare: currently 10, reasonable 4 (cleanser, toner, scrub, mask)
Body washing: currently 11, reasonable up to 3(2x shower gel for variety, bubble bath)
Shampoo: currently 5, reasonable 2 (because my hair can't take one shampoo for too long a time without switching up occasionally)
Conditioner: currently 1, reasonable 2 (one normal, one deep)
Haircare: currently 4, reasonable 3 (heat protect, hair spray, serum/oil)
Lipbalm: currently 17, reasonable 3 (one in bag, one in desk, one in coat pocket)

    Lush Stash

Shower Gel: currently 5, reasonable 2 (variety)
Soap: currently 13, reasonable 3 (variety)
Bath bombs: currently 5, reasonable 1 (want to start using them fresh and not stockpiling, only buying when I want one)
Bubble bars: currently 7, reasonable 2 (ditto the fresh, but they take longer than one bath to use, so don't mind having more than one)
Massage bars: currently 4, reasonable 1 (don't use often enough to warrant having that many)
Skincare: currently 5, reasonable up to 2 (face mask, maybe cleanser)
    Other: currently 9, reasonable 1 (R&B)

So, stash is currently 118, but reasonably would be 31. Quite a reduction to make!

    Hi all

I bought Glamour today so another non-bought IN:

    4. Kate Spade nail polish - the gold one.
    MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)
  • Very excited - just had 10 news ins thanks to the Beauty Bible testing - can't list them but nothing worth less than £15 and one worth £90.
Looking forward to trying them - just going to have to put some other products on hold while using them up!
