Oxford Owl...aaah, lipbalms! I must have about 10 on the go, one on work desk, one by laptop, one on bedside cabinet, one in the van (almost depleted though) and the rest scattered around various bags:rotfl:

I think 2 of anything is probably enough for either variety or to have a back-up should one run out.
  • OxfordOwl - those numbers are what i'm aiming for, I'm aiming for one in use and either another variety for a change or one in the stash for back up (more if on 3 for 2 and offers and worth it to stock up).

another 2 Ins, my the vegan kind box has come and has a mini soap with it (which smells gorgeous!) and a crystal deodorant. i used to use those crystal deodorants, i can't remember why i stopped tbh!

Right, I've been on the thread or and off. But basically I have developed some allergies so I have been throwing away tons of stuff with heavy perfums. So:

IN: Johnsons Baby Softwash Extracare (no soap, no parfum).

OUT: 1 strawberry soap, 1 pink bubblegum soap, 1 botttle of Morrisons "orquid" bath gel.
    ..............................................................................
    NW: [STRIKE]£5014.49[/STRIKE]/£4000/£745
    BC: £4308/£2500
    Loan: Co-op: [STRIKE]£3777.23[/STRIKE] /
    [STRIKE]£3387.23[/STRIKE]
    £2900/PAID

It's good to know I'm not the only one who is ... stuff-ocated.

So instead of listing my assortment, I took a photo of (most of) the things I expect to be rid of this month. They're predominantly little samples, trials and travel sized products that cause so much visual clutter!

Alas, as a new member, it seems I'm blocked from posting links ... and there doesn't seem to be an upload image option on here. Anyone know how long new members are prevented from linking? I thought before & after photos of my junk baskets would be fun/ motivating.

Looking forward to depleting all this stuff and hauling out another batch next month.

    I'm on a mission!

    Have a good week, everyone.
  • :rotfl: to stuff-ocated incognita, this is exactly how I feel when I look through my stash (or wardrobe ) I can't help with your photo question as I am not at all tech-savvy but I would love to see a stash pic! :D

Oxford Owl - I am another one aiming for one or two in use plus one in the stash for all my toiletries at the end of all this. Realistically I don't know if it will ever get that low.

Since I started with at least 40 shower gels I would be ecstatic if I could just get down to single figures for that! I put half a bottle in the hand wash dispenser yesterday so I am attacking the stash a bit faster :rotfl:

Very excited - just had 10 news ins thanks to the Beauty Bible testing - can't list them but nothing worth less than £15 and one worth £90.
Looking forward to trying them - just going to have to put some other products on hold while using them up!

    Ohh lovely, enjoy! :)

I'm loving this Project Pan idea, its really helping me focus on using things up and thinking what can be targeted next, great for stragglers that have been knocking about for ages. Mine for this month are as follows:

    1. S & G Righteous Butter - full sized and almost full, I really will have to be disciplined if I want to see the back of this, would only leave me with a small tube of Hugo Boss and then I'd have completely graduated in body lotion/butter  Until Christmas/the sales of course! :rotfl:
    2. Aqua Sana Body Scrub - Don't really like this and its been hanging around the end of the bath for a while now...
    3. Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm - really don't enjoy using this, feels all horrible and greasy on my face and I don't like the smell, only a few uses left
    4. Lavender Soap - not my favourite of fragrances but this is a fairly pleasant version I think and comes in a lovely tin, I'm tempted to keep it but I just think why on earth?!
    5. VO5 Gloss Me Smoothly Shampoo - Like this and its a bargain but there's not too much left and I want to try one of the other L'Oreal Ever's as only really had Ever Pure which I love
    6. Duck Island Soap - small and easily dispatched :D

After saying how well I'm going to do in Nov, I started with a couple of IN :o They were kind of planned though, 2 x Garnier Moisture Match Revitalising Hydrating Gel - silly money at £2.37 half price in Tesco where they were cheaper than Boots anyway. Cannot resist a bargain and quite like this as using at the mo, offer on until 11th, can't guarantee I won't get a couple more before then! Old habits....

I have evened things out with a couple of UU though - Lush Honey I Washed the Kids - Wouldn't go out of my way to BA but perfectly nice to use. Also, Aqua Sana Body scrub - WNBA, too runny and not scrubby enough by half, also not really keen on the smell! So that's the first item scratched off the Project Pan Hit List :T

I would love to see a stash pic too incognita!

Argh there are so many tempting eyeshadow palettes around at the moment, must resist! Has anyone tried mally make up before? There is a nice looking palette on QVC. Keep getting tempted by the Bobbi Brown palettes again too.

    Evening all.

I too would love to see a stash pic once you can post it incognita - we like a good nosey on here ;)

    UU:

    2. Sanctuary body wash 75ml - WBA but not for a while as think its fair to say I have well and truly sickened myself of all things Sanctuary in my quest to run the stash down - and fairly certain I have several more mini body washes and bubble baths (which I'll repurpose as body washes) still to go!

I've been thinking about my long term goals, and how much of a stash is reasonable to have in the long term in terms of 'graduation' - what do people think of these numbers? I think these should be excepting great deals on HGs - so if my day cream is on 2 for 1, then great, but 2 different day creams is not acceptable.

Body moisturiser: currently 12, reasonable 2 (for variety).Never going to get mine this low
Hand cream: currently 5, reasonable 2 (one in handbag, one in desk).could probably get mine down to 4 and would be happy at that
Face moisturiser: currently 6, reasonable 2 (one day, one night)Again sounds reasonable, for me it would take me a long time to achieve
Skincare: currently 10, reasonable 4 (cleanser, toner, scrub, mask) I agree but it would take me alot of time to get mine this low
Body washing: currently 11, reasonable up to 3(2x shower gel for variety, bubble bath)
Shampoo: currently 5, reasonable 2 (because my hair can't take one shampoo for too long a time without switching up occasionally)I would be happy with this but tend to buy from BS when on offer so would probably have more than this
Conditioner: currently 1, reasonable 2 (one normal, one deep) Could go to 3, 2 normal 1 deepdeep
Haircare: currently 4, reasonable 3 (heat protect, hair spray, serum/oil) I would say mine was 7 1 curl stuff, 1 gel, 1 mousse, 1 serum, 1 leave in and 1 hair spray, and 1 hair calm product
Lipbalm: currently 17, reasonable 3 (one in bag, one in desk, one in coat pocket)I would be happy with 2

    Lush Stash

Shower Gel: currently 5, reasonable 2 (variety)would agree but I tend to stash still have 4 bottles of twilight from last Christmas and others but have no plans to but any more
Soap: currently 13, reasonable 3 (variety)This is a problem area for me, I have no idea why but I do hoard soap and not just lush, again have no plans to buy anymore lush soap
Bath bombs: currently 5, reasonable 1 (want to start using them fresh and not stockpiling, only buying when I want one)totally agree that bath bombs are much better used fresh but again I tend to hoard these, will buy more if lush have a sale this year
Bubble bars: currently 7, reasonable 2 (ditto the fresh, but they take longer than one bath to use, so don't mind having more than one)This is another problem area for me and I doubt I will get under 30 unless lush do not release any new ones in the next 6 months. I will pick up a few if lush have a sale but only really the penguin appeals to me from the Christmas range. I don't think that using them fresh matters most of mine are at least a year or 2 old. Flosty gritter is about 5 years old and I have been hoarding this but I grated it last night by mistake so I will now need to use it up (grating things by bedside lamp light was not the best idea). I normally have 4 on the go and grate them into plastic tubs and keep them in the bathroom. I tend to buy retro as I don't like alot of their normal range
Massage bars: currently 4, reasonable 1 (don't use often enough to warrant having that many)not really fussed by these any more so will not buy and will use up what I have
Skincare: currently 5, reasonable up to 2 (face mask, maybe cleanser)
    Other: currently 9, reasonable 1 (R&B)

So, stash is currently 118, but reasonably would be 31. Quite a reduction to make!

I don't think I will graduate from all areas I seem to like everything.

    UU's
BS mascara big and curvy WNBA hated the brush

L'oreal volume millions WBA I like the brush on this one and have used the brush on the above.

Pantene repair treatment 200ml WBA made my hair lovely and silky.

Lush blue skies and fluffy white clouds bubble bar WNBA which is such a shame but the quality of this is awful compared to what they were 18 months ago. Very little scent or colour from this anymore. This is my favourite scent lush do.

BC lavender cream bath creamer WNBA it was okay but filled the bath with bits and it was not very moisturising.

Has anyone thought about making there own advent calender to get rid of a few products. I have ordered an advent calender of bath/ body product samples (very small company only made 10 advents this year). I was thinking that I might do a few bath cocktails e.g. bubble bar, bath bomb and maybe re-purpose some massage bars as bath melts to make them handy to use up.
