I've got one of those, they are very good, and if your heel has healed will be a real help. I don't have much of a problem with hard skin at all, (all thanks to this thread) but after a friend got cellulitis and hospitalised from an infection getting in via a cracked heel it's made me very, very wary.
Don't forget to soak your feet before you use it to soften the skin and make removal even easier.
My DS got hold of my remover and semi -wrecked the file by not soaking his horny hooves beforehand. Sigh.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I have 1 IN eye gel to test.
I've mentioned on here how bad my work is and this week on annual leave being hassled. Well yesterday on my return was summoned to have a meeting with management, imagine my horror when I walked in and HR were therewell I am being made redundant:mad:
Spent all last night crying, so upset. Our company is so bad, all they want to save is a few pounds. I've a week's consultation but they've made up their mind.
Oh Asset that is just horrible to hear. I really feel for you. Huge hugs.
Thanks for the kind words ladies. Still not succumbed to buying a raft of toiletries. Doing better today thinking about the work stuff (which wouldn't be hard considering where I was). My cold is still relentless.
One lovely UU - molten brown shower gel. It was a 30ml shot freebie and was just gorgeous to use. I don't buy myself MB but would be open to a nice prezzie. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Forgot to mention that I opened my packet of Aldi Lacura Vitality 3 in 1 facial wipes and was very impressed.
They got a Best Buy in a magazine review, (@ 89p for 30) and yes, I can see why.
I'm not a mascara or foundation wearer so you'll have to rely on the magazine for saying that they are very good at this.
Whilst I find a lot of mature skin products too rich for my skin, these were great at making me feel cleansed and refreshed.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts. Feeling much better today, spoke to a friends wife who works in HR, hopefully I should get a decent payout plus they need to pay me for the notice.
I do not think I could go back and work for them even if they could find an alternative job, while I love the actual job they treated me so badly that it would be a matter if time before they tried something else.
Back on topic, the skin on my face has broken out, gone red and very dry, possibly due to me being so upset. Any ideas of something to use on it.
Thanks and will see you all in the December threadLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
I've finished the month on 11 INs and 17 OUTs. More INs than I meant to have (meant to have a strict 5 item limit) and fewer items OUT (aimed for 24), but it's all steps in the right direction!0

Hi ladies, sorry but I've only skim read over the last 4 days since I posted last. Work has been hectic as usual but am looking forward to the next 3 days off to do some Christmas shopping and celebrate MrM's birthday with him on Wednesday.
Have counted up my UU's/INs/OUTs for November and am pleasantly surprised.
8 UUs (including LE IBST that I had not declared but was UUed probably Wednesday last week)
7 OUTs - given as gifts
INS: 6 in total as I've spent money on them but 3 were for Emma when we went into TBS on Thursday. She is suffering with really oily skin at the moment so I bought her the Seaweed essentials kit. I'm using the toner at the moment which I've decanted into an LE spritzer bottle. It's quite nice actually but as I know Santa is bringing me more LE IBST so won't be repurchasing any time soon.
Quite pleased with myself really. Am thinking of giving my friend at work a bottle of L'Occitane Cherry Blossom shower gel I have and then getting a body lotion to go with it.
Gonna go. We are putting up the Christmas decorations. Hopefully will be able to post on new thread over next few days as I'm off.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thanks for the tips:) Only get the odd rough patch usually because of all the creams that one stashes but obviously I've been under stashing and neglected my feet:eek:
I also ordered around £10 of Burt Bees yesterday, a brand Ive wnated to try for ages and to be honest I barely looked what was in the sets but glad to see theirs hand cream, foot cream and lip balm amongst other bits.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0
