I have 1 IN eye gel to test.

I've mentioned on here how bad my work is and this week on annual leave being hassled. Well yesterday on my return was summoned to have a meeting with management, imagine my horror when I walked in and HR were there :( well I am being made redundant:mad:
Spent all last night crying, so upset. Our company is so bad, all they want to save is a few pounds. I've a week's consultation but they've made up their mind.:cry:

So sorry about the redundancy, it is a horrid thing to go through (5 times during my working life), sending positive thoughts for a satisfactory redundancy package and finding another job. xx

That's disgusting that the meeting was obviously set up and you didn't have a clue what was happening until you went in!! So awful and at this time of year too, so sorry to hear this. I work in the public sector and get so fed up of colleagues who moan and pick fault all the time when actually we are very lucky as have so many policies and procedures to protect us so things have to be done properly. I hope something better comes along for you.

Fiasco and asset - what horrid news to return to after holiday :( sending positive thoughts and big hugs your way and hoping that all works out well for you both. Asset, I know this may not be much comfort to you at the moment, but try to see this as the push to get you out of a stressful job you disliked - and in which you were clearly taken for granted - and into one which you love and where you are treated better.

ETA: oops, get well soon maddiemay!

Lots of pampering would be very justifiable this weekend :) xxx

  • I've thrown away two lip balms, part of a gift set a friend gave me two years ago. I've barely mad ea dent in either of them over 2 years, so I thought it would be better to chuck them.

Probably wise if they have been open that long! The ones you have to put your finger in are probably the worst and personally my least favorite, hence the two Ive had on the go at work forever!
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • Didn't want to read and run, so sending lots of hugs to all those who need one. :grouphug:

Edit: oo that smilie looks rude!

  • Morning ladies,
    Hope you are all well,

I have some uu's and in's to declare
Uu Molton Brown Blissful Templetree shower gel, wba, love the gorgeous scent of this and it lingers subtly on the skin

Uu Boots no 7 hot cloth cleanser, wba, does the job
Uu tesco pro radiance hot cloth cleanser, wba, very good and not too expensive either

    Ins
Succumbed to the recent Elemis tsv, so that's. 6 more products added to the list
Also bought l'occitane precious cream as I've used it before and loved the results I got with it
Another one who bought the magazine with the freebie Rituals scrub.

I am currently trying to convince myself not to buy the sensationail kit on offer this week, but I'm not sure I'll be able to resist

    Happy pampering, xo
  • Last day of the month and having been a good girl with NBI all month I decided to have a little splurge in the Body Shop. Purely for medicinal purposes you understand, I had been wanting for ages to try their Ginger Shampoo for itchy scalp. Whilst in there of course I got side-tracked by all the lovely Xmas gift packs but I managed to stay strong, despite falling in love with the fragrance of Ginger Sparkle Body Butter. A very close NPI and the only reason I never bought it was because I was unsure about the 'sparkle' bit. :rotfl:

Now I know it doesn't actually have any sparkle in it, I might make a mental note to look for it in the after Xmas sales.

Summary for the month = 10 UUs and 1 IN + 3 NBI

I haven't made much impact on the project pans; most of them are still on the go and will carry over to December.

asset/fiasco - massive hugs to you, companies seem to enjoy inflicting this type of stress at Christmas.

Maddiemay - I take ecchinacea (sp?) from October to March and it seems to do a very effective job of warding off colds and flu. I suffer with sinusitis so will do whatever I can to avoid a cold as the pain in my face and teeth is unbearable when it turns to sinusitis.
