Debt free and busy treating myself:)

Has anyone tried the Aromatherapy Associates bath and shower oils before? I keep hearing beauty bloggers mention them and would love to try them
I tried a sample size and hated it - it was very fragrant and unfortunately I didnt like the smell (think I had revive - smelled like wet dog to me). Probably would have a similar effect with some essential oil that you actually liked the smell of.

Avon strawberry sorbet bath foam -WNBA this was a gift to my DD but I dont like strawberry scented products so Im biased. WMBA in a different scent.
50ml Elemis soothing apricot toner - reverted back to this after the 'eyelid' incident. This is perfectly pleasant but doesnt wow me. Still plenty left in the stash. No more buying toiletries0 -
Greetings from Edinburgh! Made it here safe and sound. The hotel is lovely - don't think it has been opened here too long. Really looking forward to getting into the Christmas shopping zone tomorrow. I still needs a few smaller gifts.
Did have a UU this morning. Louise Galvin shampoo- HG item for me. I knew I was running out so bought a replacement last month. The conditioner will be spluttering soon too.
Got a few goodies to try on my break. So I will have a few more UUs by the weekend. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Another small use up to report after my shower tonight.
The Boots Essential Aromatherapy Lavender & Cedarwood Relaxing Body Creme 50ml is no more! I got it several years ago either free or near enough free on a Boots glitch. The smell was pleasant enough, it absorbed easily and the consistency was good but I probably wouldn't purchase it again.
Off to treat myself to a cup of tea and a gingerbread cupcake now.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
Morning all!
Reporting a wagon fall-off this morning, really liked the look of this set

Hi lindseydee,
I've made soap once or twice (but only a few times - I'm no expert). I use essential oils. I don't know anything about fragrance oils. My gut instinct tells me that the majority of them would be synthetic, though, which is why I prefer the essential oils. I like the idea that they will have a therapeutic effect as well.
What were you thinking of using?
I know you can use essential and fragrance. I went to the Honey Show a few weeks ago and did a workshop with Dr Sara Robb. I bought her book and in there she says that out of the two she prefers using fragrance oils.
As I'm making soap for Christmas presents I thought maybe a Christmas spice, a citrus one and maybe just a plain one as I'm making them with beeswax from my husband's hives.Did owe £9,951.96

Well, I caved. I've had a pretty stressful week sorting out last minute venues for the show on top of being musical director and general fix-it person, and I ended up in Lush buying myself
10. Christmas Eve bubble bar
11. Floating Island bath melt
for a relaxing bath while I have a bit of time to myself. No shame, I've been wanting a Christmas Eve since about January, and haven't tried Floating Island before… And I still have a good surplus of UUs this month! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -
Fiasco55, I hope that you have a great time in Edinburgh, one of the places on my bucket list:D
Just back from my PT session, I have very wobbly (as in weak, not flabby) arms after my session with weights this morning, still I managed to hold on to them and not smash myself in the teeth:eek:
As soon as OH gets back (waiting for a delivery so dared not get stripped off) a shower and body moisturising should take me one step nearer finishing the strong smelling body cream, not sure I will get if used up by Saturday though.
UU - 5ml Clinique Anti Gravity Eye Cream was a GWP, but think it made my eye bags worse so WNBA.
It is so dark and dreary here today, think I need to dig out my SAD light:(The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Hi lynseydee, nice to see another familiar name!
I'm still struggling to get through my stash too but I hardly buy anything new these days either. How are the shower gels going?
My shower gel list is still very long!
I haven't done an official count but I think I'm under 50
Want to get through them just for the achievement then, if you see my other post, I want to make soap, as my husband is a beekeeper, as at least I will know what's in it and with a nearly two year old want to make sure what I'm using on his skin is going to be nice to it.Did owe £9,951.96

S&G Peaches & Clean - I love the smell of this and it is very pleasant to use but I use it as a first cleanse and it is wash off. I don't like washing it off and drying my face to re-cleanse as I am drying my skin when it is not properly clean so on that basis alone I WNBA.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
