  • This morning I decided to throw away my Johnsons Holiday Skin, I bought it to tan up for my graduation. I graduated 2.5 years ago :o I can't even remember if it's meant to smell like that! I WMBA, but think I prefer proper fake tan. This stuff has quite a distinctive scent, so I mostly applied it at night, and only when I knew I'd be changing the sheets the next day.

Also will declare another BS Almond hand cream OUT because I will reach the end tomorrow. A bit disappointed, as the two creams I've had looked about half full, then I hit a big air bubble, and suddenly had only 3-5 applications worth left
  • It's me again in a flurry of posts! :)
I totally forgot to declare a UU of my dove deoderant spray.
Its a HG so will be replaced soon but I want to use up a coupleve other deo alternatives until I have replaced it.
Also last weekend I bought some Impulse body sprays for when I have to be coming back from the gym in my gym gear, helps me feel less gross.
    So that's another two INs.
Tonight for my bath I am hoping to use a bit more of my wand, some pink fun and half an xmas eve bubble bar. This will help me get going with the PP list :)
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

No buying unnecessary toiletries challenge-in it for the long haul
    :D

  • and some more UU:

Lush space girl bath bomb - WBA

60ml Elemis nourishing shower cream - WNBA as mentioned I have several of these from sets and GWP and although pleasant enough it doesnt wow me enough to actually buy it. This was the final remaining product on my November project pan list - now need to work on next months!
    No more buying toiletries

Couple of UU this evening -

181: Eve Lom Rescue Mask 5ml - WNBA, was nice enough but difficult to tell if it makes much of a difference from one sachet. It had also gone a bit separated and funny and I've only had this sachet a few months.

182: Home made soap - only a few soaps left to go now. I really don't like soap.

    And one IN -

74: Nivea Daily Essentials Eye make up remover 125ml - nearly run out of the one I have on the go at the moment. Usually buy this one as it always seems to be half price.

Will have another 4 INS tomorrow from my REN order.

Used some of the melting snowman bath melt from Lush in my bath this eve. Couldn't really tell it was there though so maybe I needed to put the whole thing in? I usually break up Lush products to use in the bath otherwise I think they are really pricey just for one bath

Wow, well done moneyless mac! 6k7t7ux.gif
I have some more use ups from the list after my shower this evening: 2uq19np.gif

Woode & Brown Conditioning Shampoo sachet 7ml - these were freebies from a hotel and I've used both of them now. The shampoo smelt quite nice and left my hair soft and shiny, but it was greasy again within a day.

Yves Rocher Hamamelis Gentle Shower Gel 6.5ml - this was nice enough but I wasn't too keen on the botanical smell and I prefer something creamier so I wouldn't purchase it.

Nivea body Firming Lotion Q10 Plus sachet 10ml - this smelt lovely but it was too runny for my liking so I wouldn't purchase it.

    Onwards and upwards..........!
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

Woooooooooo FINALLY on the shampoo front, are you pleased even though its probably ur HG product? :D

Haha, yes, so pleased! Even if I love a product I hate those last couple of inches… Especially with shampoo when the matching conditioner's long gone!
Tried the 87p basic conditioner with it, and it seems to have worked about as well as any normal brand (not as well as Bee Strong though), so I'm glad I bought it - it'll be a nice filler for all those extra bits of shampoo with no mates :P

A great evening for UUs for me! Finished off:

    28. Lush 9 to 5 cleanser 240ml. HURRAH THIS IS FINALLY FINISHED (what do you mean I cleaned the sink with it after I'd cleaned my face with it). I really liked this, but got so bored of it. The 240ml bottle (why not 250?) lasted me a little under a year, and that's a long time to use one product. Might repurchase in future in small size if my skin was ever that dry again.
    29. Lush Eau Roma toner 250ml. This I started at the same time as 9 to 5, but was less bored of. I was ready to finish up though. I seemed to use it faster than the cleanser, so it was on its last legs and now it's gone YAY :j WBA if I was using Lush skincare.
    30. Head and Shoulders Classic Clean shampoo 250ml. Rehomed to my boyfriend, who actually uses H&S. I only bought it to strip some black (oh, sorry, "mid brown") hair dye out of my hair, and once I achieved the original colour I'd intended, stopped using it!

I am literally so excited to use my new cleanser and toner (Boots Botanics All Bright), I might go and cleanse again for the hell of it.

    :D

Oh, and also, that brings me down to 61 normal items, 37 Lush items and a total of 98 items! So I've smashed my Christmas target, woo :j :D (not quite on the 61, but who cares).

New targets are 50 normal, 30 Lush, and 80 overall. Wish me luck!

Edited to say I'm really proud of myself for halving the stash since September (197 items to 98). Just goes to show, it really was a case of me hoarding things rather than using them, 'cause they're disappearing pretty fast!

I'm the opposite - I always finish the shampoo first and end up with lots of conditioner left over. I only ever use a small amount of conditioner just on the ends of my hair as my roots get greasy quickly.

Congratulations TheOxfordOwl, that's very impressive. Keep going! wufed5.gif

    Thank you! :D

If we bought hair care stuff together, we'd probably even each other out and actually finish bottles together like a normal person! :rotfl:
