Morning Ladies,
How are you all on this chilly, wet morning?
I forgot to post a teeny UU yesterday...
Perricone MD Neuropeptide Firming Moisturiser 7.5ml - this came in a beauty box (Selfridges?) and I was keen to try it because I know it is a premium brand. Leaving aside the cost for a full size (£225 for 59ml!!) I WNBA. I didn't see any firming at all. It seemed quite thick for a daily moisturiser and if I wore any make up over it, it "rolled". Is that the correct term? Where it sort of rolls into tiny bits on the skin? Well I know what I mean!Anyway I was very disappointed with it. Probably just as well because if this had turned out to be my HG I couldn't afford it anyway.
On the shampoo/conditioner debate, I get through conditioner much faster than shampoo. I have long hair which is about to my bra line on my back.
Was interested to read that someone (sorry forgotten who) said that Bee Strong is their HG. I have a sample sachet of this but I'm trying to use up my other half finished products first.
Have a lovely day.

Article here about how women's toiletries are more expensive than the men's equivalent.

One small UU to report; Nivea In-shower Body Moisturiser sachet sample size. Definitely WNBA although still have one more sachet. The old fashioned Nivea cream smell was quite nice and took me back a bit, however I wished I had the good sense to have washed with other shower gel before using this as I didn't feel clean. It's a weird one, like face cleanser but not nearly moisturising enough to not need body lotion afterwards. Therefore overall conclusion = pointless and I am glad I never paid for it.

That was me! It's not often I'm impressed by sachets, but when I tried this I spent the whole shower going 'whuh, wh-HOW??' because it was so amazing. I think I was sold when I had to double check if I'd opened the conditioner sachet instead of the shampoo sachet because the shampoo was so thick and moisturising! I then had to go straight out and buy some, so I'd recommend using something else up before you try the sachet!Clutterfree wrote: »Article here about how women's toiletries are more expensive than the men's equivalent.

That was a really interesting article! I think a lot of people know about the pink ones costing more for things like deodorant and moisturiser, but I didn't know it was true for perfume too… And I've long suspected that the mens' razors aren't actually as good as the women's ones, even though everyone is like 'ooh, you're paying for the purple ones' - I always cut myself more when I'm skint and bought a big bag of man ones!
No UUs for me yet as I've only just woken up - accidentally set my alarm for PM instead of AM, lucky I've got nothing to do today! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -

Don't worry about being off topic, we are not strict at all on this thread.
I always use up my shampoo first and end up with lots of bits of conditioner with no partner. I'm the same with body butter, all the matching items get used and I'm always left with half a tub of body butter.
I have two uu
BS Cranberry Joy Bubble Bath - WNBA not in this scent it is just a fruity bubble bath and not at all festive.
Elemis Pro Collagen Lifting Cream for Neck & Bust - 15ml - WNBA.
Painted my nails last night in a sort of electric navy blue from Nails Inc (don't recall the name) and then put Avon Silver Plated top coat on the tips, the top coat is glitter and little silver discs and the effect is very pretty. The Avon stuff comes in other colours and is only £1.50 so I see more ins on the way.

More UUs!
31. Lush Soot Ball bath bomb - managed not to stain black, hurrah! Thanks to whoever gave me the advice to wet it first to get the black powder off, it seems to have done the trickWNBA even if I could, although it was cute it was not my favourite bomb once in the water.
32. Lush Noriko soap - very unimpressed by this. Found the scent old ladyish and was shocked that it only lasted me three showers (I had 120g). The creamy white Lush formula is just terrible, it dissolves too quickly (as with Sultana of Soap). My Debenhams order arrived so I have my Elemis GWP INs to report:
5. PCMC 30ml
6. Shower gel mini
7. Eye renewal mini
8. Papaya peel mini
Can't believe that they're doing 30ml PCMC as the GWP - seems too good to be true as the value of this is basically on a par with the cost of the items purchased :j
The packaging on one of the bought items is damaged though, so will have to try to swap given that it's for a gift - anyone had experience of this with Debs?MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
I have sinned. I bought the Body Shop advent calendar. I did get it half price and all the travel sizes will be used on weekend aways. I also bought the Yankee Candle one because it was so festive looking. I am a naughty girl and will now go and sit in the corner.
oooh, how did you get hold of the TBS advent calendar for half price?moneyless_mac wrote: »60ml Elemis nourishing shower cream - WNBA as mentioned I have several of these from sets and GWP and although pleasant enough it doesnt wow me enough to actually buy it. This was the final remaining product on my November project pan list - now need to work on next months!
I'm the same as you in that I have a few bottles of this in my stash. I'm really not very impressed by it. Maybe I'll give a bottle away to a friend at Christmas.Sundaysgirl wrote: »My Debenhams order arrived so I have my Elemis GWP INs to report:

The PCMC is always on offer as a GWP in my experience. Lovely way to stockpile!! Have you tried the Papaya Peel before? It is lovely although I do now prefer the Gentle Rose Exfoliator.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I saw this article too. I've been trying to use Hubby's deodrant as I've run out but his smells of sweaty feet on me (smells fine on him) Think I'll stick to unfragranced if I were to buy a man's deo :rotfl:
I thought I'd mask the smell with some body spray but someone commented that there was a small of perming lotion in our office. As I was the only one there at the time... I guess it was me!:o0
