I'm using this one at the moment in the same size as you. I've used it before and although the results are lovely I don't get on with the fragrance of it. Am thinking of replacing this with A'kin Rosehip which I know maddiemay raves about. Think I'll have to try a drop on my hand first as I am sensitive to rose fragrance.

We didn't buy any in the end but came away saying Emma would have to re-evaluate what she wanted. I tried to steer here towards another brand but she's adamant that she wants MAC so MrM has suggested to her that we buy a palette and only two shadows so far to go into it. She says she would like Woodwinked and All that Glitters.

Thanks for your post dolly84. I didn't realise that Debenhams sell MAC as well. We only looked in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre and didn't get into Debenhams at all. Not sure they have it instore there anyway but will keep an eye out online for any good offers that come up.

Yes MAC eyeshadows are so expensive. I love them but have been building up my collection very slowly using offers on Debenhams and my beauty card points. Sounds like a good idea for Christmas if she is adamant she doesn't want anything else.

There are SO many tempting things around at the moment. Just saw on Debenhams a kit from the Balm which is so much cheaper than buying products individually. It's sold out though. Also just seen that the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is coming out! I really don't need this but I really really want it for some reason.

    Evening,

I am currently resisting temptation but I do have another 6 parcels due in this month from my shopping exploits in October so really I can't justify any more spends.

    INS from parcel today
    3 body whips
3 soaps ( no I really don't need anymore I just love soap, no idea why)

    UU's
Lush bubble beard WNBA very little scent but did do 5 baths ( project pan)

Haus of gloi amber sugar buff WBA loved this sugar scrub and have made it last, it's such a shame that it's an American company and shipping is very expensive.

Elemis balancing lavender facial wipe WNBA

YSL forever youth serum 5 ml WNBA quite liked the texture but unsure of actually if it did anything. I have no idea where it came from.

I have a lot of work to do is month if I am to not end up with more ins than outs.
  • Just one UU from my bath tonight, a Lord of Misrule bath bomb. This was totally lovely, but I'm still in two minds as to whether I'd buy it again, but then I don't know if I'm just feeling less inclined to buy bath bombs since they work out so expensive per bath… We'll see. I may be tempted if there's any left in my local Lush on Monday.
No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!
    UU: 5, IN: 2
Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)
  • Getting very frustrated at a lack of UUs so far this month. Starting to get tempted to bin things just to get them out the house.

Going to have a big clear out this weekend, and I will have a big push to use a few more things.

UU, A!di's Aqua multi-intensive serum, the green one, have had it upside down, I was using the pump tube as a spatula to winkle the remnants out. Beautiful little ground glass bottle.
WIBA? Already bought the Renew multi -intensive serum. I think I bought the Aqua as it was all that they had. It is really designed for skin 35 years younger than mine, but as I said before in a post, it was fine.

I got out of A!di today without adding to the stash of anything. Go me.

Did buy a box of all chocolate biccies for Christmas though. Put them in a place that is really awkward to reach. Deliberately.

I had convinced myself that I needed some new foundation, my old Clinque HG is finished, I have some samples of Lancôme, but not convinced, my Laura Geller is too dark for winter (medium) and they have changed the formula of the Smashbox I have so need to rematch for colour. Seemed like justification to me:rotfl: I found a Bare Minerals stockist in my area as I need to be colour matched, (still about 30 miles away, but could combine with a visit to my Ma), still sounding good:rotfl:

I had scheduled a visit, and probably a purchase for yesterday, but OH invited me to join him and his cycling group for lunch, he paid:D, so I have managed another no purchase day, I will do a check around of what is lurking and see if I can cobble up something that suits:j

The A'Kin oil is made from Rosehips only and I cannot smell any Rose Scent. I have some tiny bottles of the Trilogy one, from a Beauty Box and *bay as they are great for travel, it seems a little finer than the A'Kin (which I need to warm on my fingers to apply) and seems to be a mix of other seed oils, again no Rose Perfume, but I find no difference in the use.

Q have a duo of the A'kin and some good prices for Trilogy on the bay.

    2 UUs this morning -

    9. B Pure Micellar Water 200ml - WNEEEEBA (never ever ever ever). Stung my eyes, removed make up poorly, was basically a huge waste of time and money.
    10. Fair Trade Honey 100ml - WNBA, Lush shampoo doesn't work for my hair, just knots it all up.

Thanks for this post Oxford Owl. I was thinking of trying the B Pure toner once my current IBST ran out as I'm always on the look out for a cheaper alternative as I'm still not convinced that I need toner!! Anyhow, now that I've ordered 2 x LE kits for Christmas I'll be using IBST for some time to come in that a 200ml bottle lasts me about 4 months. I suppose in this respect it's not bad value at all then??

I LOVE that gift set! I hope Emma will too! I also think that the box is gorgeous (I have a box and tin problem :D ) Shower gels sound yummy. But I have enough lol

I was a bit daft in that Emma had marked out in the gift guide the items she liked and I forgot to take it with me. The intention was not to buy her anything for Christmas from Lush but then MrM usually likes to get her Philosophy shower gels and the only one she has really liked recently has been the Sugar Plum one which they have not produced this year. I said I thought she would appreciate a set from Lush instead. The only product she had put on the list I had with me was the Rose Jam shower gel so it was a case of judging which had this product in it but a set that did not contain a lot of bath bombs as she doesn't like these. She has recently bought her friend some Lush products for her birthday including Snow Fairy bar and Santa Baby both of which she liked the look of herself so I'm hoping this set will be a winner. Must say the SA who helped us was brilliant and was keen to show us the individual products on the shop floor to ensure we thought Emma would like them. I especially liked the Snow Fairy bar when she massaged it into my hand. Sucker, moi??

Surprisingly my nails survived the weeding I did yesterday so I won't be repainting them today. Am planning to go into Manchester later to watch the lights switch on. Will have a shower later and think the 200ml tub of TBS Honeymania will be a UU after that.

Thanks to dolly84 for the mention that Debenhams sell MAC. Will now keep an eye out for any offers that I can take advantage of.

You sound in NEED of foundation maggiemay. No need to justify it!!

Thanks for the info on the A'KIN. I did see the duo on Q the other day as well but would rather buy one to see how I go first. Only cos I have a bad habit of not returning stuff to the Q to utilise the 30 day MBG.

Just popping on to report a UU -

179: Herbal Essences Seductively Straight Shampoo 400ml - WMBA, was ok, cheap and smelled nice. Lasted ages too, just seemed to keep going. Was one of the items on my Project Pan. Happy to buy if on offer although I am liking the L'oreal sulphate free range at the moment.
