I'm currently trying to talk myself out of the £50 Lancome Christmas box at Debs, you have to buy two products (plus theres an extra GWP with 2 items).

I don't really need 2 more Lancome products tho :(( the £50 box is really good value though, I'd love the blush/bronzer and eyeshadow palettes :(

Oh whyyyyyyyyyyy did you tell me that?!

OK I'll look, even though I'm still effed off with Debs about their useless and seriously delayed customer service

Not to be a naughty enabler but Boots also have it (the Lancome Christmas Box) as do HoF and Harvey Nichols - If anyone were planning on getting it Boots might work out better as they've a few different promotions plus AP etc, especially if at the extra points event - not sure whether you get the extra GWP that Debs have though HTH

Every October, Dior has an auction to raise money for Breast Cancer charities. The Secret Admirer Box is a $600 donation. It sounds a lot up front, but Dior doesn't skimp on what they send you.

This year the auction was only up for ten days, last year it was all of October.

GlossyBox died in Canada, so, I don't feel that I'm spending a huge amount. If anything it's keeping me away from the counters in the Bay and Holts. I wait to see what I'm getting. I've only ever been "meh" about one month, it was a gel top coat for nails. Other months it's been scents, mascara & lash primer, the bow palette, et.

Dior pays for the shipping and customs fees. At the start of the month a courier drops it off at the house and it's always beautifully presented.

Thanks! I think that's quite a good deal given the cost if their products usually, especially hearing the types of items you've received - and it's for charity after all! :). *wanders off to set a calendar reminder for October 2014...*

    Couple of uu

Sure Compressed Deo - WBA as the size is handy and it was very effective but I'm still not convinced they last as long as the big cans.

Boots Natural Collection Samphire & Sea Minerals Shower Gel - this was DH's, he said it did the job. He has replaced it with a full size freebie of Wingman Shower Gel/Shampoo/Shave Gel.

  • Noooo, just spent ages typing out a long message on my phone, and then it lost it!

Been at my parents' for a couple of nights, for easier access to London for a book signing with both of my favourite authors - it was amazing! I don't have many UUs to report though, cause I've been away from the stash.
One GA from Monday though, my avocado oil to a friend who'll get way use out of it than I will... And I used up my Garnier Moisture Match - love the scent and texture but it's not moisturising enough for my skin.

Some INs thanks to my parents, who've been on holiday and went into Italian Lush for my souvenir!
    1. Fate Voi (Godmother) soap, 180g
    2. Sapone di Mare (Sea Vegetable) soap, ~20g (sample)
3 This Works Grapefruit and Tourmaline scrub, 100g, from my mum's magazine.
Never tried any of these before, but they all smell lovely!
Apologies for spelling/weird formatting if there is any, I'm using my phone on the train and can't scroll up :P

Mm, lovely welcome-back-to-Oxford bath finished off:

    5. Pumkin bubble bar - WBA, but prefer the Dorothy incarnation of this bar because I'd rather have blue water than orange!
    6. So White bath bomb - WBA, but am waiting for Christmas presents/sale...
    7. Greek Passion Olive Oil soap with honey - WNBA, a lovely thoughtful present, but not particularly well scented.
    8. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula sachet- WMBA, love the effect, but hate smelling like chocolate.

    8 to 3 feels like a better ration than 4 to 3!

Also, time to re-evaluate my UUU targets - 8 Lush items to go and 9 regular items.

    Lush:
    1. 9 to 5 cleanser 240g
    2. Eau Roma toner 250g
    3. Happy Hippy shower gel 100g
    4. Chou Chou toothy tabs (these 4 left over from my previous hit list)
    5. Ice Blue 42g
    6. So White
    7. Lord of Misrule
    8. Fair Trade Honey 100g

Regular (all these are from the original list):
    1. Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo 400ml
    2. NSpa Lemon Souffle body cream 75g
    3. Our Patch Lavender Hand and Foot Cream 75ml
    4. Bio Oil 200ml
    5. B Pure Micellar Water 200ml
    6. Burts Bees Beeswax lip balm (if I can find it!)
    7. TreSemme Heat Protect Spray 250ml
    8. Head and Shoulders Classic Clean shampoo 250ml
    9. John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shampoo 250ml

    I really like lists... Sorry!

I LOVE this idea. :) I've graduated in bath stuff (until the inevitable xmas presents arrive!) but I have lots of facial wash/moisturiser samples I could use instead. Might be a tough job to find and use 25 of them though!

I've been MIA for a while, with various illnesses between me and the little one we've been a sick household for the last few weeks. As of this moment in time we're ok though.

Yes, I'm sold on making my own beauty advent calendar for Emma. Depending on the size of the "windows" that is and how easy it would be to fill from present stash/cheapie items.

Glad to hear you are better Catriona. x
Have however printed off my Body Shop £30 voucher, and will probably try to use some of it to buy Christmas presents for my sister.

I just haven't bothered with this now. Every time I tried to book into the TBS Special Event my local store's number transferred to fax machine! Maybe it's a sign. I really don't need/want anything from TBS and did some shopping yesterday anyway. Will mention my INs when I have caught up with you all.

OK so yesterday at the Trafford Centre we bought some Christmas gifts and I came away with some INs:-

Molten Brown Muberry and Thyme hand lotion. Used to just be White Mulberry but seems it's been revamped. Very nice still and I can see a difference in my skin already. Must keep buying this.

In L'occitane MrM bought me a gift set of the new Amber fragrance for Christmas which got us a free Acacia gift set comprising of a small bottle of perfume, soap and body lotion. I am "allowed" this now so will slip it into routine when there's room!

We were also offered another gift set at £15.00 (half price) so MrM bought this for my sister for her birthday present.

I bought MrM a tube of L'occitane foot cream which I too love.

For Emma for Christmas we bought a Lush Fab Christmas box set (I also got her a bar Honey I Washed the Kids soap, Christmas Eve bath bar and the Penguin bath bar for now), YSL Baby Doll mascara which came in lovely gift set with eye make up remover for same price and Nars Sin blusher. Nice thing about this is that she thinks it's discontinued and wont' get it. Whilst at the NARS counter I saw the lovely gift set of blushers containing Orgasm and have asked Santa for this.

MrM nearly had heart attack at the MAC counter which I expected!

Saw the lovely new Philosophy shower gels and love the smell of the Honey Buns one. Am making a note of this for sale time along with some more Pure Grace.

    Hello all

I have 1 UU to report: 2ml sample of Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate. This came in the LIB award winners box. WBA as gave my skin a dewey look when used as a night cream.

I love using all my sample sizes as I get through them quicker, and feel I'm getting somewhere - shame about the boxes of big bottles under my dressing table!
