Applied Wednesday morning - no response atm

They say its fine for you to have a Cap1 card

Haven't received the card yet, but logged in to my account and they have given me £1500 limit! Am slightly gob smacked!

I applied for this and received my temporary password through today. I'm a little bit worried that I deleted the user name email though? Which email did people received first?

I got them both at the same time, if you have a deleted items folder then you might be able to recover.

If you are using outlook on a PC you can also do recover deleted items.

otherwise go on the website and say you have forgotten username

They accepted me right from the off. *Gave me a nice feeling*

The Aqua Reward Card was my first Credit Card and they had to 'think about it'.

I guess my rating has approved and I'm not a big risk like I was before. *YES*

Yes early 2012.
I remember it was early in the year as I bought my sister a voucher (that wasn't accepted).
Edinburgh Woollen Mills bought some of the shops and the brand is the same which might be why you didn't notice but some shops closed.

Be careful of buying vouchers/gift cards.

Do you get accepted straight away on their website or did you have to wait to get confirmation through the post?

Interesting. I applied on the 31st, was accepted with a "We'll post your card to you in the next 7-10 working days" message. I hadn't received my card, or PIN by today, so thought I would call. Turns out my PIN was only sent out today.

I don't think there's any exciting conclusion/moral to this story (my best guess would be they then decided to refer me to a human underwriter, causing the delay).
