Applied on Tuesday night got referred, received an e-mail asking me to log in and my credit limit is at the top end. Mind you I had just closed a capital one card a few days ago.

Yea, I was cutting down the number of cards anyway and the cap one card. I think you're ok to have both so long that you match the profile.

I have an existing Cap One card too, and am waiting on a decision on the LUMA. I wonder if there's any way to combine Cap One logins so I don't have to remember another username?

I was wondering about that; the username is the email address, which is the same for both, so I don't know how they'll get around that.

Mind you, it's been nearly a week and I haven't heard yet, so they may be saving me the problem!

Couldn't you have just set up another e-mail,e.g. yahoo, gmail, hotmail, and used that as the username for the new application?

"I don't have to remember another username?" It's not much to remember?

Of course, if I'd known when I applied that Luma used the same login interface as Cap1. Still, this must happen a lot, so I guess they'll have a solution.

Luckily my original Cap1 login is not my e-mail, must be something you could do in the "old days". The same e-mail is linked to both accounts. According to their web page you cannot change the allocated login.

Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.

Being hated by idiots is the price you pay for not being one of them.
