Haha, don't like my chances. Simply because I've recently applied and been accepted for the Aqua Advance card. Thought it'd be a nifty little thing to have (no fees for foreign use!) seeing as I'm going abroad soon.
Hi Carousels. Please can you tell me where it is stated that there isn't fees for foreign use? Thank you0 -
Carousels is correct about no foreign usage fees for purchases on Aqua Advance (also Aqua Reward too but no longer available):

Just want to say thanks OP. Have just applied online and been approved. My credit rating is very good and I have two 'ordinary' credit cards with Santander and Halifax.
Was considering going for the 123 card, but this pays out £30 more cashback for us, so it's a no-brainer!Pay off all your debts by Christmas 2025 no. 15 £0/69490 -

Does anyone know the MCC for Asda Travel (5411,5541 or 5542) we have one in our local store, would be ideal to use for a short break holiday/tickets, 4% would pay the credit card admin fee + free financial self-defence with ''Section 75'' if over £1000
-
Certainly not 5541 or 5542 as they are not a petrol station. At a guess they will be 4722, Travel Agencies and Tour Operations.0

I applied for this at the weekend, signed in to my account today to check the limit I have been allocated, and it is the grand sum of £200. Will make it work with a mid month FP, looks a bit like Aqua cashback who assigned low limits, but manageable if you are organised. The cynic in me thinks they hope to cash in on people exceeding their limit, and also limiting the amount of cashback they actually pay out.0

If you already have £45k+ of possible credit on cards (as suggested by your signature) I doubt it will have too much of an effect
... but the fact you are still in hock to them for over £12k may adversely affect your eligibility for yet more credit.
I am effectively stoozing the remaining 12K, saving what I would have paid off each month until the 0% expires on each card. I have just cleared one such balance and will be closing the account over the next few days (4K limit), so I think I'll give that time to show up on my credit report then apply for this - as other have said a free £100+ a year is worth having!0 -
Tempted to go for this but not sure on whether I will spend enough in a month to satisfy it along with my other cards.
Amex Plat Cashback: 5% intro on first £2000 but need to hit £3000 spend per year for cashback
Aqua Reward: 3% on all cashback (hit limit, resets in Jan) need £3400 or so for max cashback
Then obviously I need to consider the Luma. I am guarenteed for any Halifax card so was considering the Reward Clarity, but the cashback % is around 1.5%.
I spend about £225 a month on supermarket food and about £40 on petrol. Not a lot else spent at the moment due to recently buying a car!
Would it be worth throwing this card into the mix or not?0 -

Yes, as 4% is better than 3.5% (Amex) which is better than 3% (Aqua).
If you've already spent money on the Amex then you'll just have to try and spend the remainder of the £3000 on non-supermarket and fuel, as 3.5% is better than 0%0
