Thanks for the heads up OP.

Will work alongside my Aqua 3% card nicely0 -
Thanks OP for spotting this, I've also applied and been accepted.financialbliss wrote: »Have been accepted - absolutely no indication of credit limit being offered. I'm only interested in this for the 4% cash back. There's a drop-down on the application which asks to select the "minimum amount of credit which would be useful to you". I chose £300 - £500 - I didn't want to risk asking for too much.
Just to note, that question doesn't have a red star by it, so isn't compulsory. I chose not to answer, since I couldn't work out what they would try to infer (£225+error margin is all I really need, but does asking for a low amount sound like desperation. Does asking for a higher amount sound imprudent, or risk them saying no if they can only offer a lower amount?)0 -

Hadn't realised it was optional. No worries - I was given £1,500 credit limit!Just been emailed my on-line login details this morning and credit limit is shown there. No card or PIN yet.
Anyone else know their credit limit yet?

So, apart from the other rebukes you've already received, you think Capital One are a shoddy credit card provider?
I have personally received very good service from capital one.
They did a chargeback for me when Peacocks went into administration.
They also paid out on a section 75 claim (strike) where they said I wasn't covered but they did it as a goodwill gesture.0 -

My mum has been given £1500 too.0 -
I can't see better than 4% anywhere, although it's a shame it's only fuel and supermarket spend... At risk of a stupid question, who are these guys?0

You can get 5% on promotional deals with Amex e.g. the preferred rewards gold card.0 -
I already have a capital one card (an old one with 1% cashback which I use when I've exceeded aqua cashback).
Would this make me ineligible? (sorry if I've missed it).0 -

No, my mum has a Capital One Aspire World card and got approved instantly for this Luma card so you should be fine.0
