You remove your shoes at the front door ;)

Did the OP outline that all EAs and viewers should do this? If so, they didn't mention it...

Everyone is in denial about OPs floor.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
  • Haha oh dear! you have my sympathy OP

  • Sorry I should have said it was stiletto heels that caused the damage, each dent was about 5mm across. The flooring people I have asked for advice say stiletto heels will damage vinyl flooring and even commercial vinyl flooring. Just to confirm it was the estate agent that caused the damage not the people viewing the house.
  • When I put the house on the market I did not ask for people to remove there shoes as I would imagine it was common sense and courtesy not to walk around someone's house with a 5mm spike attached to each foot.

do you have a visual disability?

I do after reading that!

I haven't had this problem before with them, it's usually the over powering smell of aftershave/perfume they leave behind.

By the same token, it could be regarded as 'common sense' to ensure that the flooring you installed in the 'public' area (the hallway) was suitable for outdoor shoes ....

That was my thought. If certain footwear can't be worn then the OP should have made this clear before-hand.
