Thanks SweetDaisy.
Looks like from your signature that you are in for the long-haul as well. Do you have a thread?
Whilst you were talking about advice, got my statement from BG and currently paying 4.83p per kwh - does this seem reasonable to others?M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
Good luck with your journey, I started off with interest at £35 a day it's now below £10, mainly due to an interest rate change but also as mortgage has halved.0

I have a shortish diary which explains it, I don't add to it very often but it started in 2009 after my divorce was finalised in 2008 and it became really important to get it paid as soon as possible. Not sure how to post a link to my diary but it's on called new mfw - would love to change the name.
Edit: Here's trying to post the link following Gallygirls' advice. Chirpchirp's diary0 -

ChirpChirp - Yes, I think we all have these life changes that really drive us to be financially free. Good for you for taking control of your future.
Kola - Thanks for that. I have been weighing it on and have spent a lot of time on eBay looking. Did you go for a traditional rose? Or something different? What drove your choice to pick artificial?M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
Hopefully Mauritius, but finding it hard to take the plunge as it is pretty pricey, and barring my house and car, I have never spent that much money before!
Thanks for the welcome. 2027 MFW sounds good. Only 14 years to go!

Hurdler - That's so interesting. I'm looking to stay near Grand Gaube - is this an area you know much about?
I picked Mauritius over Maldives as I really felt the country had a lot more to offer in terms of different scenery and in particular the nature reserves.
Love to know any insider knowhow on where to go/what to see?M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0
