:rotfl::rotfl: I don't think they fitted a DPF to L series diesel based engines and DMF are fitted to most late 53-2004 k series petrol.

the OP is missing the transmitter off the PCB on the lucas fob it is next to the battery which is clearly missing in the pic.

I said 'another make'. I was bringing attention to that people generally slate the engine due to head gasket issues, when other car manufacturers have engines which suffer with issues that cost 3 or 4 times the price to fix, yet don't suffer from the same rep.

Yeah.. BMW for instance. They're known to pop gaskets yet folks love them.

Just like subarus that put pistons through engine blocks..
