  • I don't know if It counts as a spend day or not but i had to take out £60 to pay my mum back for my laptop and had to pay my dad back for getting him to order christmas presents i wanted to give to my uncles.

Also if I moved some wages into my savings account would that count as a spend day?

Well, today has made it #3 and an unplanned 3-in-a-row. And tomorrow looks likely to be the same!

Thanks for the comments re: my car accident. I have some muscle pain down my right hand side, which is likely to be from hitting my drivers side door, but otherwise okay.
Having a bit more trouble with the emotional side of things. Having never had any sort of car accident before, it was a huge shock, and I'm still swinging from "everythings okay, material things can be replaced and I'm not hurt", to actually feeling quite down and depressed. But I am assured that that is completely normal after a bad shock and will ease in a few days. Just trying to keep busy at the moment.

    Hi Flubz

Sorry to hear of your trauma, (physical & mentally). Hope all gets sorted quickly and easily and you recover your stability soon. I think a lot of it is down to the adrenalin release on impact - fight/flight and all that - takes a while to get out of your system. Have you done the getting back in the saddle thing yet?

Welldone NSD 3 and 3 in a row - silver lining and all that (clich!s abound :rotfl:)
Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

  • charleybear - what a star, well done on NSD # 3. Hope you are feeling brighter.

    Thanks ETO!
Sorry I didn't reply sooner I missed your post!
I'm feeling much better today as last night I cut the lines between me and my ex for good. I was glad we were talking but then It came to me feeling that he was emotionally black mailing me as he said he didn't want to get back with me but still cared for me and didn't want to leave me alone but didn't want me then when he asked "What are you thinking about" and I truthfully told him that I still loved him and that I miss him, he kind of just didn't want to talk to me and said "I think we need a week apart then we'll talk as friends."

My feelings were being messed with because he kept giving me hope that there was an "us" but now I just don't need this heartache or feeling like i'm walking on egg shells all the time.

But Not having a partner means I get to grab more NSD & to save more money so I can splurge a bit on myself and family hehe

Declaring my 1st of the month today. Would have been a spendy day but. decided to return my library book unfinished rather than get fined and walked with the dog into town to do it, so no fines, fuel or parking :j
