    There are no exemptions for other disabled tenants/occupants. The Government has made additional funding for Discretionary Housing Payments available for disabled people who live in significantly adapted accommodation (see section

    Trying to define in legislation that this or that type of adaptation was or was not exempt was very complex. Gentleman has described – for example, a wheelchair user who has had significant adaptations made.
