Hi,

I had my first LBM in 2012 and started to make great headway with my debt.
The I fell of the wagon with a really big bang, and just starting racking up the debt again :( not good.

I have now had my second LBM, due to ill health I could really do with cutting my hours to part time, which is just not possible with this level of debt, so it's time to get firmly back on the wagon and get things sorted.

This time we are in a better position as OH now has permanant work, and it is possible to be debt free within 12 months, which doesn't seem to far away. So feeling really postive right now.

Thanks for such a great welcome Aamberle :)

My Payday today, so can start making some payments, working on the Overdraft first as this has the highest interest, this is currently at £2900.00 but with today's pay will now reduce to £2500.00 so that's a good start.

This month will be the most difficult as we have a couple of large expenses, I need some new tyres for my car, getting that sorted tommorrow so fingers crossed it's not too bad. We also have the court costs for OH Divorce from his Ex, but as his children are over 18 and there he has no assests, this and the payment for the absolute when we get that far should be the only costs. So fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.

    Off to update sig now.

Well had a couple of days of holiday last week, but came down with a cold :( on the plus side I couldn't go out spending. :rotfl:Wasn't able to get the tyres done, so will have to get those done next weekend.
Being off gave me a chance to go through our finances again, and I realised that I had forgotten that our mortgage rate comes down in March and OH has promised to get his rented lock up cleared by the end of Dec (he had the lock up when he worked for himself) so that will free up enough extra money to take a month of our debt free date, which brings us down to 11 months so less than a year, so pleased, just the thing to cheer you up when you have a cold :j

    Hello waves at everyone
Glad to see you found your way over headabovewater, and lovely to see everyone else too, that's what I love about me everyone is so friendly.
Cold has gone now thanks :j just a bit of a cough left but I'm sure that will go soon.
Off to a Christmas craft fair tomorrow, but its already budgeted for, and I'm only taking cash, no cards so I can't be tempted to overspend.
How everyone has a great weekend.
