Thank you very much to everyone who's replied. The production company's had enough replies now so we're closing the thread.

Hi Compers!

We’ve been contacted by a production company who are producing a new daytime programme on Comping for Channel 4. They want to talk to MSE Compers who might want to take part in the programme and potentially end up on TV (although at this point there are no guarantees)!

If you're interested, email MSE’s Pritie (pritie@moneysavingexpert.com) with your name, contact number and one big reason you love Comping so much?

Look forward to maybe seeing some of you on there!

Oww not Tv (hides) I know a lot of compers on here hate the limelight ;)

Should be a brilliant program though, and it would be nice to see some MSE compers chatting on it as people on here seem quite normal, and usually TV programs make compers out to be weird (like those who keep every single win, never use them and lay them all out in the living room, when in reality most of us give away or use our wins)

I wondered how long it would take before someone did a programme about this.

Personally, I would never, ever consider taking part mainly because (as a general rule) these sorts of shows normally end up either being sensationalist or make the subject look like an utter fool for the ratings.

Thanks for the post but I would not touch this with a Sh*tty stick, as they say.
I would hope that everyone else feels the same way as it will no doubt end badly.

    Just my view of course:D

I wouldn't do it, nor have I won any grand prizes but can't help but wonder when average joes go on these programs talking about their amazing hauls, do they make themselves a bit of a target for being broken into? Say you won the gadget show competition last week, you would have £46,000 of gadgets just sitting in your house and chances are you don't have the security that rich people do
Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

I've seen too many instances where people have been vilified when they have talked to the press about their comping, I wouldn't go anywhere near it.
