Not that I would go on it, but if I did, I think that ITV would be a bit disappointed to find that I spend hours and hours entering competitions and if I am lucky, I win a prize worth perhaps £500 once a year and maybe the odd book or lipstick or bar of chocolate in between. I don't think that would make good viewing at all.0

And how would Channel 4 feel ?0 -

Plenty of "public domian" background info on the forum with the iwiwiw section and the "how many do you enter/what is your best win/how many phone numbers do you use" etc threads and this one which (although started ages ago) is almost made to measure

I also wouldn't touch it with Ren's. Having said that, I would definitely want to see it - hypocritical? The reason I wouldn't apply for it is all about the fear of being misrepresented and/or misunderstood. It's a shame though, because I love my comping life. Love this forum, at least as much for the fun as for the wins. I would really like to see someone represent that side of comping and this fabulous forum. They'll probably find someone who has a big win every other week - perhaps that's what they're looking for. But I think it would be better if they showed something more typical of a comper's life. We're sad, and we know we are. Don't matter, cos we're happy being sad

I would love to go on it, but I haven't really won enough to make for interesting viewing (see my signature).Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

Perhaps that's a good thing, if you went on it would stop the assumption that compers win millions and it's so easy to win big prizes through very little time and effort. Most actual compers win very little, like yourself, so you'd actually be giving a very true representation :starmod: Looking for the lucky dust :starmod:

If you've ever seen the programs about hoarders, It doesn't take much to imagine what this show will be like.0

We’ve been contacted by a production company who are producing a new daytime programme on Comping for Channel 4. They want to talk to MSE Compers who might want to take part in the programme and potentially end up on TV (although at this point there are no guarantees)!
If you're interested, email MSE’s Pritie (pritie@moneysavingexpert.com) with your name, contact number and one big reason you love Comping so much?
Look forward to maybe seeing some of you on there!
Thank You very much Andrea for the invitation.
But I respectfully say no thank You
