I've discovered I work much better if I nibble away at difficult things rather than trying to tackle the job from start to finish, which is why I keep procrastinating. I've managed to make a bit of progress on the filing, the Challenge, an old art project and silver cleaning by doing a tiny bit on each of them every day. Every little helps, and all that.
I agree - I find boredom sets in after 45 minutes at any one task.

Folks, don't worry if I'm not around tomorrow and Friday; Mr LW's on leave, we're doing a lot of Flying, both physical and spiritual, and I'm sure there's going to be a "price" to pay for his assistance with the physical stuff.;););)

Been away for a few days with very limited internet so haven't seen any of the thread. Hope you are all well and hugs to spoons to all in need xx

Not going to do a dailies list this week as there is so much decluttering to do. We have friends coming over tomorrow evening for drinks and nibbles with the kids and I start work full (school) time on Monday and DD is away for the week with the school (I'll go into her room then (evil laugh!!!))

I'll put the main list up as well though and see how it goes..........xx

    Ok here goes this week!

Seeing as many of our children have half term this week wouldn't it be nice if the little (and not so little!!) people helped!!!!.

  • Evening all.

Not got too much done again. I seem to get nothing done fast lately.

Had to yell at 11 year old son. He is going through a very naughty defiant phase ATM. He is good elsewhere, just inside the house. He's like a puppy really. He needs a good exercise a few times a day!

I sorted & put away all the clothes. There weren't enough clothes to out the ironing board up & as it's school trousers, they can wait till he weekend when I will have more to iron.

I am so tired. Ds2 is still coughing so don't know how much sleep we will get tonight. He is liking his banana medicine though!

Lamewolf, have a nice time while your dp is off.

  • DD3 has been a god send today, watching DD4 while I threw creosote over 2 more fence panels front and back.

Swapped DS library books over, and ended up sticking half the library on DD4 ticket aswell as I couldn't leave the library without a meltdown before swimming lesson.

Swimming decluttered......home insurance renewed online.....told DD1 i have ordered spider scaring device online last night.

DD2 has requested a new pair of shoes.....she is missing me eb@ying niceties at stupid o'clock for pennies :money:

have done SOME flying today, but not much, just doing a bit of dot to dot....having a brew made by DD3 then I will find listy and see what can go.

    be back soon!

Seriously lacking any GUAG. I have remade our bed though an washed up from dinner.

Going to get DS3 to bed and then sit and knit until I need to collect DS2 from work.

I have been on whizz around upstairs collecting dirty washing, and collecting dirty cups/plates as I seem to have migrated back into one room again (not quite sure when this happened, but by the number of cups and plates it must have been some point on Monday :eek::eek:) not sure if I will drag it outside to utility tonight or leave til daylight tomorrow so I don't break my neck.

DD3 is about to load the DW as a "special treat", as I have a DW ban in force ATM to save some leccy :money:....DD3 has choice wash up, dry and put away by hand or load DW and programme for cheap leccy overnight :money:

Debating whether to stay up for cheap leccy and hoover round, or try and get up in the morning and do it...just want listy to shrink a bit..........can I print it on a piece of plastic, put it on a baking tray, slam it in the oven 1970's style and come out with a tiny shrinkie - dink listy instead? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

nighty night flyladies flygents.....going to get up in morning and try for sleep now if I can get it.
