Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
    Evening all,
Thanks for all the advise on the bf, would help if he were more communicative and didn't just say 'whatever' when I ask his opinion.

Did my AS order and called my hostess but didn't get any flying done, being honest I'm a bit preoccupied with paid stuff. The boss and big boss want me to take on a project which sounds very interesting and a good prospect for developing my career, CV and contacts in the company. Downside is I have a full workload and this will only add to it. I've been told overtime is readily available and the money for it would be great but its obviously going to impact my non work time. Not sure the full extent of it but guess I just need to take a gamble, if the house work slips a little or nothing more gets decorated in the next few months then that's the price to pay.

Anyway, sorry for the ramble, am going to head to bed.

    Evening

I have now completed 4 fence panels in creosote or whatever the new fangled fake one is called......on both sides....two more to attempt tomorrow.

Can't ask nice NDN to help as he was taken to hospital on Sunday and now on crutches with a bad sprain....so will need to ask EX and DD2 to help DD3 and I slot them in at the weekend before DS has his little "do"

Flying has been almost non existent cos of creosoting fences.

Dinner has been cooked, and not much else

DS had "helped" me make the decision to wash all the carpets in the house by running in the house with his wellies on as he decided he didn't want to use the downstairs loo, but the "purple one" ie the ensuite through my bedroom.

So that will have to wait until fence panels all finished.

I did set up a spreadsheet to work out my energy costs like one I used to use at big 6 but without all the bright colours, bells and whistles, so now I just put my meter read in and how many days have passed since the last reading and then it works it all for me. I cannot justify spending 20% of my income on energy bills.

I just wish the EX had decided to go ahead with putting a log burner in the house, as since Monday I am seeing big piles of free firewood for next winter EVERYWHERE!

ETA DD3 was rooting around in cupboard and found my "Rio" album on CD which has been missing since we moved in 7 years ago....one of my favourites from my yoof which I had on tape which underwent many a repair with cellotape and a pencil :) so it made working on fence panels much much more enjoyable.

been online and ordered some spider scaring stuff for DD1 Uni room as accommodation services have been less than helpful...so hopefully she will get some sleep before she comes visiting

Scrip collected today, and young Skints nursery paid for online. more creosote stuff from the orange shop on self serve, and some fuel on pay at pump (hate those things, but really not in the mood for people in person today) now, if I could just type online what housework I want done and it magically happened, now THAT really would be something

I should really get out of bed and make a start on listy, but I may wait until tomorrow.

Nighty night, flyladies and flygents
The cold never bothered me anyway

Morning all. Have already been flying as SickDog had an accident so while I'm doing horrible jobs I will clean the downstairs loo before having a quick session in the gym and a soak in the bath.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Good Morning fly people, it's a lovely morning here. I wrote a post last night but the computer threw a wobbly and lost it all!

Had a good day yesterday, kitchen surfaces, cupboard doors, shelves and floor cleaned with steamer thingy. Where does all the greasy grot come from?

The dining room was sorted on Monday as I had a committee meeting in there yesterday afternoon. I even wrote up the minutes yesterday evening.

Kazwooki I am in awe of you, working seven days a week for six years. Do you ever get a break? When do you can see the current regime ending so you can get a rest? (Apart from the self-employed, I thought everyone had to have a rest day now - Working Time Directive and all that.)

Valli, would you like any help with *quality control* testing? I could squeeze it in before Christmas (sorry Lamewolf) Yule.

Lovely stocking Mrs MP. Highly original.

Hugs for Jazee and SickDog. Ah, carpet scrubbing. I remember Dog and carpet scrubbing. I can't understand how I did it for so long without ever getting cross with her.

Kitchen floor washed and sink scrubbed and polished.
    Better is good enough.
  • Morning all, I gave the fridge a good clean last night. Chucked a few bits that were lurking and now it's much nicer in there.

I've got a frustrating financial frog to sort out today. I must get him eaten before I can concentrate on anything else.

    Happy flying all.

    Morning all.

Slow start to the day as my delivery was late arriving and its missing half my invoice. Fortunately there's an online version which has the vital information on that I can print out but its just adding to the work load :( I have a feeling its going to be a long day.

So I am currently decluttering films from the fr33vi3w box while I work. I deliberately left them for this reason ;)

Right, time to get an hours work in while trying to read tiny subtitles from a distance then I'll have a coffee
