wow, things are going well - so please for you hun. x

ok, it's not my taste (each to their own though) but don't understand why the pet rat owners are upset? do they think you're killing the animals to stuff? maybe you could put a wee disclaimer on the description and save yourself some hassle...the wee, waving one was cute though!
    Thanks Spicy x
I put disclaimers in all of my taxidermy auctions letting folk know the animals I work on are bred as snake food and that they are kept in good conditions. I guess some folk just look at it diferently. They have pet rats so don't like seeing dead ones (although technically it's not dead, it's just the fur of the animal not the entire thing) which used to be my way of thinking too but that all changed once I started this hobby, things are a whole lot different. Yeah I get some colk emailing me abuse saying im a murderer and I should die, yadda yadda yawn yawn. I don't disrespect the animals I work on, and really I think thoose type of folk who send me the emails are a bit batty bth. I mean, people all over the world farm animals for their meat, wild animals eat other animals and even pets need to be fed too. So to say I'm a murderer for being part of the supply and demand chain........ lotta pish, really. Meh, it doesn't bother me, the hate mail, anymore. Each to their own.

    Howdy folkies :hello:

Been busy working on stuff as planned. I've a little chap to finish off tonight then a large one and maybe a small one to do tomorow too. Due to the pet shop having very little in the way of snake food last week I'm a tad stuck. Ideally I was wanting to get five projects done for ebay each week but couldn't because of lack of supplies. I'm not just knocking out my work for the sake of proffit, I hope nobody takes it that way, it's a way for me to gain experience in my hobby and earn extra for the bills and supplies too is all.

Today (!!!!, I'm up too late....again) I need to call the pet shop and see if they got their delivery so I can pick up more critters and get a commission done from it. IF the supplies are in stock then I'll be getting the other supplies I need to do the other side of my projects. Mothers day (2nd of March people!) is just around the corner as is bf's birthday ten days later, so need to get budgeting for that too.

I'm still doing loose change savings but now because of my work load I'm not heading down to the credit union on a friday, instead it's all going in a money tin (which I picked up for 50p from the pound shop that's closing down, yay). It's half full already so I might pick up a few more and put all the savings from each tin in the CU once it's full.

With March being just around the corner I NEED to set myself some targets and try to stick to them. Ideally they'll be:

*Make and pay £150-200 to the council tax arrears
    *Keep money aside for supplies
*Make and pay £50 to the CU

In other news I had old far Babes at the vet yesterday. She had another ingrown claw which had to get dealt with and whilst I was there I asked the vet to check out her mouth too because she's been a bit funny about her food lately. As it turns out, my poor old girl has 'lost' three pre-molars. The vet says some cats can get root strangulation (or something like that) which makes the crown of the molar break off and the gum grows over the root. Poor girl :( He assures (hahah I said !!!) me that she's fine and it won't be bothering her because she is still eating, but I need to get her booked in to have her teeth polished which means going to sleep for it. I always worry about her when her teeth need done, she's so old and fat that there's always a risk she might not wake up. So I've been told I should give the cats a chunk of raw meat once a week. Having a chunk of uncooked beef or chicken to chew on will act like floss and get in between the teeth and clean them more naturally. I can TOTALLY imagine the dirty looks Babes will give me "Eh, excuse me, but why isn't my meat in tiny chewy chunks slathered in jelly goo?!"

Anyhoo, I've a project to finish before I get to bed and head out tomorow so I'm away to go get it done. Toodles folkies xxx

Up to page 26 now. I'm reading this with one eye, and the other eye is on msn chatting with my friend, I must sound like the little mouse you found with one eye.

Dying to know what happened to him, and what the DF meant, pm me if you like, ha ha.

Bye for now, hope everyone is ok.

Hi SS, stull busy with RPTB but things are utterly crap at this end.
I've hit another down spell and it's really getting to me. Constantly being skint is leaving me feeling trapped and alone. My bf was out tonight with his friends and I upset myself because I know I can't go out to see mine, everything costs too much.
Things with my mum are bloody awfull too. Second buyer for her house pulled out, mortgage folk are likely going to reposess. AND she had a fall out with american dude, which resulted in a break up, which has now left her pining for him so badly that she wants to make it right again and get back together with him. I've told my mum to her face that she's an idiot. I found out things about him online (wont go into detail) and instantly detested him, but she's so facking smittened with this guy that she's dismissing it. I KNOW for a fact that he's stringing her along but she won't listen to me and I'm afraid and rather saddened that I know deep down she'd rather go swanning off with this liar and fraud than listen to cold hard facts.

I'm taking a bit of a break from here just now because I've got so much on my plate I just can't commit to doing anything regularly.

I hope you're all keeping well out there, keep on being awesome, DFW's x

Sorry you are feeling so down but I've learned long ago there's no point in pointing these things out to folks - they've just got to make their own mistakes no matter how painful it is for the rest of us to watch. one of my friends got beaten up by partner and I told her to leave but all that happened was she stopped speaking to ME!

Hopefully your mum will sort herself out soon though. In the meantime take care of yourself and try not to get too stressed (easier said than done I know). Big hugs to you.:grouphug:

    Anyone remember me? :o

Hi folks, I'm back again. Times have been hell'a tough here and I kicked myself up the bum to come back with my tail between my legs.

Finance wise things haven't changed much here and that's my own fault. I've let myself get bogged down with all the upset of family woes to the point where I just stopped.

But as I've said, I'm back now, so hopefully I'll get my serious DFW head back on.

    I've missed you guys x
