This all happened at lunchtime, and i've been stewing on it all day long. I contacted two members on here to ask for their advice. One has come back with emailing head office.
I will wait till i've got a clearer head in the morning and then draft an email. But i'm ashamed as I know I really did take the pee. I got carried away with getting all those cobras. Call it greed, call it what you want, but I hold my hands up, I know i've broken the rules. But I'm just in shock still.
I was treated like a shop lifter and taken into a room and told to sit down and then made to sign this form.
What rules have you actually broken? (Read a little further and can now see -)What is the ban actually for ?
Yes, all store managers reserve the right to stop you entering a store if they so wish, but If I were you i'd be contacting Leeds and asking for a copy of whatever it is you signed and full disclosure on why the store has enforced this.
From reading further posts It very much sounds if the manager (was it the Store General Manager or a Duty manager - there's a huge difference) has been a little over exuberant unless advise has been taken from their head office which somehow I'd doubt.0 -

YOu have been using three stores He named each one), and they were correct, and he said, You have spent over 1,000 pounds worth in a month and the limit is 100. For that reason, we are taking away your right to enter any of our stores. He then handed me a form to sign. I signed it as I was petrified. I have a copy which he handed me. A supervisor was there to sign it as well.
I couldn't understand quite what their problem was but that clarifies it - I suspect that many of us would do well to learn from your very unfortunate experience. They don't care how much you spend - the problem is that the APG T&C's limit everyone to a maximum of 10 claims or £100 per month. 2 boxes of Cobra were giving an APG of £15 - £18.xx depending on when they were bought so it would only take around 6 visits buying 2 boxes each time to take you over the maximum allowance. It doesn't take much for Asda to suss that to get that much in vouchers, some jiggery pokery must have been going on with entering receipts/email addies/post codes etc. And I reckon that, if we are honest with ourselves, an awful lot of us have tendered over the limit recently. YQ may have pushed it to extremes but perhaps we should all take a close look at our APG histories cos some other people could well be well up on the radar.
Really sorry about what happened to you YQ but I'm not sure what your chances are of getting the ban cancelled. Tesco were renowned for similar goings on a while back and I actually got to the stage of looking into buying a few Tesco shares to give me a lever against any possible ban.ELITE 5:2

Apparently, they have been monitoring (tracking) me, and I've spent OVER 1,000 in their store this month. I guess this could be true. Or close to the truth, I am too upset to make any real calculations.
But I'm very very upset. I thought id share this, incase it helps someone, and I might get some support of some sort. I feel like Carp. They say i've been banned for LIFE from EVERY asda store! And if I dare to enter one, then I'm trespassing. I even signed a form to say this.
Any help appreciated.
Really sorry to hear this, it must have been horrible for you. You are obviously upset I hope you have some better reason from them than just having spent money in their store...I would have thought that's what they wanted people to do!
Spending you a HUGE HUG!0 -
