  • Oh, so happy to come on and hear all the good news. :j:j

Really, really pleased for you Logie, and also for newbie's dad. :T

And great to see Mad posting , looks like his sense of humour isn't ailing!:rotfl:
  • Sorry to be a pain but finishing off a HD from sada and wondered what the consensus was on the Impulse ,does it still scan @ £1 despite listing @£1.75 ,was this always the case or is the glitch fixed, boo hoo.
Call of Trouty was very helpful with this before and sent me the items but cant remember (from the other night - brain like a sieve) if they were listed at £1 or ££1.75.
Please help a poor Scotsman stuck in the sticks in Wales!!!!
Why Oh Why do I live nowhere near any Supermarkets and only have Sada HD to play with!
 ,,,,Still I do get to join in I suppose !:j:j:j

For the locals someone stabbed themselves in Asda Hartlepool tonight about 4.30. Got here just after this & blood all over the entrance area & half of the shop corndoned off. Had to leave by the side once finished the shop. Apparently it was a junkie that had stabbed himself. Loads of isles shut off, half of the tills, half the entrance & all around the cash point area. Police were all over.

    Hi all,
New to this thread so be nice to me!

Got the finish goodies on 3 for £2 at t3sco newtonhill ( north east Scotland), they had plenty in which surpised me.
Went to @sda to try the 2p Ben n jerry that I saw on mse twitter but came up at£2.50. While I was there though I picked up a four pack ofown brand ladies shaver cartridges, shelf price £2.25 scanned at 56p. Needless to say there's none left in my local store:rotfl:

I did read the first page here but is there anything with info for newbies on where to start with bargain hunting? We spend a scary amount, particularly on food.

Also, what's the free rice offer?
    Thanks
    LJ

    Welcome
Your life will never be the same again.

Best way to get use to the way this thread works is reading constantly until something clicks.
If unsure try to copy a shop posted on here . We rely a lot on price garantees from mr A and mr T and price anomalies.

The free rice is a coupon that was in mondays metro newspaper. It is available online. Deal ends tomorrow. We use a lot of coupons here too.
Lists of most available coupons can be found on the coupn thread.

Any questions then ask away and someone will be bound to help.
If an answer does not come straight away it is beacause not everyone is online and the people that are simply can't help.
Sometimes this thread moves very quickly and questions can be lost.

We save money but we also talk and offer support. In the evening it can be a fast moving glitch of just people chatting and posting music clips. This is referred to as 'Bilge' but is a big part of this community.

    It is fun too.

thanks,it is fun and where is the coupon thread??:T:T:T

my friend just told me, apparently he was jumping in front of cars in town earlier as well.

I am so relieved I didn't take the kids after school.

Hi. End of pet isle. Good luck

Thanks...I did look there, but not sure if I missed anything? Nothing to be found, but very happy with what I collected first thing this morning, so cannot grumble. Hope you managed to get what you wanted :)

It was all very strange. Surprised they did not just close the store until it was all cleaned up. Loads of people just left their trolleys.
